Positive:
The apartment was in a perfect location to the city.
Negatives:
The host messaged the day after I paid in full demanding I cancel the booking or pay an additional £141 blaming Expedia for advertising it as a 2 night minimum stay instead of a 4 night minimum stay. There are two flights of stairs with no lift facilities. The front door looked as though there had been signs of a break-in near the lock. It looked as though the tenant had just moved out as there were all personal belongings left in bathroom/cupboards. The carpets were all worn/dirty/not hoovered. We chose to sleep on the sofas due to stained/unwashed mattress/bedding. The fridge/microwave was dirty. Inches of dirt/fluff on the bars on the stairs and under the stairs & at the back of sofas. The whole of the appartment was in need of redecorating with holes in the walls. Suitable for a stag party looking for somewhere to crash. Pay the extra for a nicer stay at The Premier Inn near the docks.
