"Room in friendly couple's house. The bed was comfortable and the hospitality great. The exterior had construction in progress (new ADU being built), but not on the days I was there. Room had it's own bathroom and the neighborhood was nice and convenient to parks and stores. Ave. cleanliness--not great (bathroom), but not bad. Reasonable, modest accommodations. Easy parking."

"High quality place to stay in an upper middle class neighborhood. Vivien (owner) was absolutely charming and friendly. The unit is very new and everything radiates quality. It is utterly quiet with a small unit clothes washer/dryer, small refrigerator, gas stove, TV with included NetFlicks and Amazon, forced air AC. . There is a nice couch and kitchen table. "I chose Sierra Madre cottage as it was close to my daughter’s home. I was greeted by Tom (along with lovely fresh baked goodies from a local bakery). The cottage had everything I need (especially air conditioning as I’m not used to the scorching California sun). The pool was definitely an added bonus. Thank you both for a wonderful stay and best wishes for your future plans."

"We had to evacuate due to the Eaton Fire. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home. It felt like home, was super comfortable, spacious and decorated perfectly. It was easy to check in and we truly enjoyed every moment - even under the circumstances. I highly recommend this property. "

"Unfortunately I did not get to stay at this property. The owner changed me to another location on the day of arrival stating that previous renter had COVID. The second property was not of the same quality/caliber and the owner would not refund the difference from the original home to the room I was provided which is priced at a lesser rate."

"The dining options around the area were really amazing. The staff was very sweet and told us that they were still cleaning the rooms, so I know for a fact that everything was throughly cleaned when I entered my room. The breakfast was very convenient and very good. If I were to ever stay in California again, this hotel is it. "
