"Great little cosy cottage in a good location. Real log fire in lounge but also has central heating. Stairs are bit on the steep side but then you get that in cottages of this age . Walks just outside your door ( as well last chickens!) Everything you need for a nice stay . Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay. "

Attention to detail was amazing and everything we needed was thought of and available. This was one of the best cottages we have stayed in and we will definitely be returning in the future. "The property is set in wonderful grounds and is well furnished. We had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The fire in the lounge was a lovely focal point throughout the time we were there and we would love to return in summer when we could use the pool. Unfortunately Vrbo’s computer system did not appear to communicate with the property agent’s which led to various problems, including the property manager not knowing that we had paid the deposit. A phone call with the property agent easily...

"Lovely big house and setting for the family, just a couple of things which would have made it 5* could do with a few more chairs in the living room especially if you have 6 adults or teenagers with you. The floorboards upstairs were a little noisy. No electric kettle or toaster. Overall the house was clean and had most things we needed for our family holiday. "

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."
