We recently had the misfortune of staying at this property, and I must say it was an incredibly disappointing experience. Sharing my stay to help others avoid my misfortune.
Let's start with the access road - it was an absolute nightmare! I've driven on my fair share of country roads, but this one took the cake. Massive potholes, deep ruts, and gigantic rocks made it feel more like an off-road adventure than a simple drive to our accommodation. Unless you own an SUV or a truck, steer clear! Trust me, the 15-minute drive (and that's no exaggeration) was enough to make anyone fuming. We were practically trapped on the property because going out meant enduring that awful road not once, but twice. We even timed it, and the fastest we could manage was a whopping 9 minutes for just a 1.5-mile drive. To add insult to injury, our arrival was greeted by pitch darkness. Not a single light was on, despite prior communication about late check-in and request for the key box code. And guess what? The entire place was left unlocked! Can you imagine the sense of unease we felt entering a dark, unlocked property? Far from a warm welcome we expected. But that's not all. We booked for 3 nights, with 6 people, and do you know how many small mini bars of hand soap were provided? Just 1. Along with just 1 trash bag in the kitchen. If access to amenities are as difficult as they are here extra items would go a long way in hospitality.
Future guest deserve better.
