"The Ballymac is a lovely hotel in a quiet, rural location. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was very warm though, even when I tried to turn down the heater. "The hotel was beautiful. Very clean and a lovely atmosphere to be in. But … I booked a child and adult and we were given room 126. Our bed was directly above where the live band stood until 12.30am. "We had a fabulous stay at Ashside Cottage. We were welcomed by Richard and Caroline who gave us a tour of the house and filled us in on places of interest in and around the area. The cottage was beautiful with parts dating from 16th century. It had everything we needed, including home baked bread. ..."
