Beautiful Flat
Lovely, very large and spacious flat in Lisbon. We loved how it was styled. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. They helped us arrange things for our babies and let us checkin early because of them. So nice!

Graça Retreat in Quaint Neighborhood
The rental has been recently updated with modern amenities and comforts. The photos on VRBO are accurate in their depiction of the unit. Our bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, did not sleep in the others. The rental has AC with individual temperature controllers in each room. There are a number of restaurants in the area, our favorite was a small local seafood restaurant that mostly caters to locals but was very welcoming to us. Fresh shellfish and fish. I believe it was called, 1º JANEIRO, about 4 blocks from the rental up the hill. This rental was spacious and would easily accommodate 6+ people. The second bathroom uses a transfer pump which will make some noise when operating, the only downside to the rental. Lisbon is a hilly city and this area is no different. Be prepared for hills or use Bolt to get around. We used Bolt often. There is a folder with recommendations for restaurants and entertainment. We did the recommended Fado in the old chapel which was fantastic. This is a quiet area of old Lisbon, which was perfect for us.

The apartment was well appointed. The air conditioning was wonderful. I was a little concerned that it was located too far out of the tourist zone, but that concern evaporated with Bolt and Uber, which could transport us anywhere we wanted to be for a few euros. The host was very patient with my questions about how things work, provided lots of local information both before arrival and with literature in the apartment, and was highly responsive when we experienced dripping from the unit above. She also granted us a later check out as we were leaving. The only matter that is still outstanding in my mind relates to a refund coming to me when we changed our stay from 7 days to 4 days. I was quickly refunded the day rate, but was not refined the fees or taxes. The host advised that I should address that with the booking site. I will.

Great apartment in quiet area
Overall we had a great stay. The apartment was larger than expected, with a large, updated kitchen that was very well stocked. Some features are older, but classic (like the hardwood floors). We arrived in Lisbon very early, and were able to drop our bags off at the property well before check-in. There is a dedicated parking spot behind the building for a small additional charge (€10/day). The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location feels more residential than tourist (our preference in bigger cities), but it's only a 5 minute walk up the hill to a busier/tourism-heavy area, and there are bus stops right around the corner (Ubers are cheap too, and were easy to get at this location). It worked out very well for our time in Lisbon.

The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely decorated and in great condition. The parking was close by and easy to park. The sourounding area is a bit run down with large garbage containers that needed to be picked up. The host was superb, she helped us recover stuff we left in the unit after we left. The check in was also easy, they met us at the airport. I arrived a day late (due to global IT glitch) and they waived one day of parking.

Perfect stay
Communication with Teresa was excellent. The apartment is roomy and pictures are a true reflection of the apartment. There is a little mini mart downstairs on the corner and walking distance to public transport, excellent views and restaurants. The apartment is very well fitted out. Kitchen is excellent if you like to cook yourself. Well equipped. And importantly, the beds were very comfortable. We stayed for 8 nights and were sad to leave.

A beautiful property!
We had a lovely stay in this property! Beautiful interior and layout of the flat with everything we needed during our stay. Super comfortable, very clean and working hot water! The little terrace at the back was ideal for the morning and afternoon sun. Great location. Only improvement would be the check in process. Teresa required a text message an hour before arrival however we did not have a phone to use as we were travelling internationally and were driving to Lisbon, not flying. I had to seek wifi and we did not gain access into the property for nearly 2hrs after contacting to say we were nearby. Considering standard check in processes nowadays, a padlock with key at the door or within close vicinity would easily avoid these issues and make for a straight forward check in process. We would definitely be back again to stay in any case!

Nice break from the busy areas… and a great host!
This property worked great for our stay. Teresa was incredibly responsive to all of our requests. We were able to purchase a parking spot in a gated area right behind the apartment during our stay for our rental car which worked out great. The apartment was beautiful and well appointed, just across the street is a nice little market to stock up for food items and within a couple of city blocks are some great restaurants. We actually ate every evening up the street at a different venue. It worked out perfectly to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busiest areas of Lisbon.

Lovely place with nice location
Super cute property very chicly decorated. High ceilings and lots of natural light, new and spacious kitchen. Teresa is very helpful and nice. Very old plumbing so have to be a little careful but the bathrooms are gorgeous too.

Great spot
The pictures do not do this place justice. The location is perfect as many spots can reached on foot, as long as you are happy to walk up and down the hills. No need to bring any high heels. The apartment is very spacious with high ceilings and comfortable beds/linens. Would definitely return. Be sure to try out the Vino Vero at the top of the hill

Great Apartment in Great Neighborhood
Can’t say enough about this beautiful apartment in a perfect area away from the hustle and bustle of other Lisbon neighborhoods. We were two couples and we thoroughly enjoyed the large, beautifully decorated apartment. So nice to come back to after a day of exploring. The neighborhood has such a great feel with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hosts were very accommodating as well. Made our trip to Lisbon all that much better. Thanks!!

High Expectations…
Having only stellar five star reviews I just knew we had found the perfect base for our first trip to Lisbon. And although there were some nice things to be said about the apartment there were unexpected/unsaid items that would have had us considering a different option for the price point of our 8 days. The Pump System required for the on suite bath was a very noisy situation. This was definitely shocking to us as with even a single drop of water used you could hear the pump vibrating throughout each bedroom. This was something we were unaware of and were unable to find additional information in Information Binder. There was also work going on in the building the rental unit shared a wall with. Which gave us jackhammering noise for the first few days. Pros Communication - Super Friendly Easy Checkin Large light filled rooms Very efficient AC Outdoor patio Cons The Noise level of Pump System The Unit Requires a bit of Maintenance: Hall Bath sink very slow draining, HB shower fixture hanging loose as it was no longer attached to shower wall at the top, hall flooring outside of HB in desperate need of restoration/repair Room for Improvement Notification on listing about Pump System Better Quality Mattress Better Quality Linens More Informative Rental Binder We are a multi generational family who travel extensively within Europe, Scandinavia, Canada, and the US. We loved Portugal and it’s warm and friendly people.
