A good base from which to explore Lisbon!
This was a nicely decorated flat in a superb location. It was clean and as described in the listing but was more compact than I was expecting. Nevertheless, it suited our family of five. I think it is a better suited for a family than a group of friends as there is very little storage space and privacy. There is no door on the living room area where the sofa bed is located, and the second bedroom leads off from this room. The main bedroom is fine but there are no windows.
The check-in was easy although wasn't made completely clear to me before arriving what would happen. I missed a message after landing (my fault entirely) from the property manager which meant we had to wait a little while before someone arrived with the keys to let us in. The keys worked fine although there was a little knack to using them which we acquired over our stay.
The Wi-Fi was good, but it dropped out when sitting in the kitchen at the table at the back of the flat, which is unfortunate as that is the only convenient place from which to work if intending to.
There is some noise from the streets below at night as it is a popular area for restaurants and tourists, but we did not notice this too much once the windows and shutters were closed. My one gripe is you are unable to leave the windows open at night, so it did get a bit warm and stuffy at night. Thankfully fans are provided.
There is a lovely, popular tasca downstairs with friendly staff where we had breakfast every day.
