A typical aeolian house with a great location and great view.
The house spacious and has lots of interesting art. It is located a fifteen minute walk from the center of Lipari. The view from the upstairs deck is one of the best in the aeolian islands. Maria Luisa was very friendly and responsive.

Posizione scomoda, un caldo infernale. Priva di condizionatori.
Non siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti per la posizione della casa, ubicata in un tratto scomodo al passaggio pedonale, sprovvista di parcheggio, lontana dalla spiaggia (sottopassaggio impraticabile per sporcizia). Negozi distanti. Abbiamo patito il caldo, in quanto la casa è sprovvista di condizionatori. Non lo consigliamo molto.

Nice, but hot, stay near Lipari center
The apartment is 10+ minute walk to the center. This is convenient, though most of the walk is on a busy road with sidewalks less than half the way. We were there during a heat wave, and the lack of AC was noticeable, particularly in the one back room with no airflow. The provided fans help, but only to a point. The room are spacious, and the upstairs balcony is great. Unfortunately, the main balcony, on the floor with the apartment has no view. Also, there was a large ship docked with our view most of the time that also included a bad smell. The host was lovely, though her English is iffy. Kitchen was well enough equipped that we could cook some meals, though the listing says "oven" and I saw only a toaster oven. Stove was great, though, as was having a full-size refrigerator and (small) washing machine. I didn't see the referenced passageway to the beach ...

Casa Athena : un séjour de rêve
Tout est exactement comme dans l'annonce , l'emplacement permet un repos réel tout en étant à 10 min du centre, la terrasse est somptueuse, l'hôtesse Maria-Luisa est d'une profonde gentillesse, l'accueil est chaleureux, le logement est meublé avec goût, la cuisine est bien équipée, la salle à manger sous forme de patio est extrêmement agréable même si nous lui préférions bien souvent la terrasse panoramique avec vue sur les 2 ports. A réserver sans hésiter car c'est une grande chance d'y séjourner.

Incredible views. So lovely to stay in an authentic Aolian house, overlooking the sea. The terrace and the little galley kitchen were favourites. The beds are super firm, so be mindful if this if you like softer comfort.

Une belle maison avec une belle vue sur la mer, 2 terrasses agréables si beau temps, sinon...
Cuisine très petite sur terrasse couverte non fermée, il a fait beau on en a bien profité, une grande chambre, les 2 autres plus petites. 800m à pied du port en longeant la mer. Accueil chaleureux de gisella, la voisine. On a passé un agréable séjour.

authentic island living
We were two couples travelling and stayed four nights. We loved that this apartment was away from the hubbub of the town. It had great views and friendly neighbours. Kitchen was serviceable, and the walk to town enjoyable.

Just the perfect place to be in Lipari!
We are a French family of four persons, with a kid of 6 years old and a daughter of 21. We spent a great time in Maria Luisa's house in Lipari. The location is very fine as you are not in the city center but not far by walking (15 min max) and you can enjoy an amazing sightview from the roof top! The bus which go to the beaches stops very close to the house so that you can pick it up to go to Cannetto or use the Spiaggia services. The house is so well decored, far away from the standardized house usually rent for holidays, and well furnished. The bed was confortable and all the rooms very charming. The parents one is a very large room, with lots of places to store the personal things. The 2 bathrooms also add to the confort. There are two terraces, on two different levels, the first one is perfect to enjoy lunch in a cooler place with the kitchen opened on it, and the terrace on the roof top is ideal for breakfast early in the morning or for apperitive time in front of the sea, with the city center and Vulcano on the sight view. The area is charming and quiet, lots of flowers and lemon trees. You can hear the road downside, but it remains very quiet. At last, Maria Luisa is an elegant and welcoming host who received us so nicely and she can provide you with good advice on the islands and activities to do. We found out very practical to visit Lipari as well as the other islands for daily visits while being based on the main island. Lipari is really charming, with lots of places to visit and beautiful beaches. The only regret we had was to leave and we hope to get back soon! Thank you again Maria Luisa for the great holidays we spent to your place.

Assolutamente da consigliare
Casa bella ed accogliente, tipica eoliana. Cucina un po' piccola ma comunque ben attrezzata. Terrazza grande al piano superiore con bellissima vista e fornita di tavoli e sdrai. Disponibilità della proprietaria, molto gentile e discreta. La distanza dal centro è di circa 15 minuti a piedi, la fermata dell'autobus comunque è a 50 metri. Da consigliare!

Le Eolie sono bellissime. Casa Athena all'altezza ns, aspettative, Il ns. soggiorno è stato piacevole e rilassante. Per non parlare degli splendidi tramonti che abbiamo goduto sorseggiando aperitivi sull'ampio terrazzo solarium. Indimenticabile vacanza....come indimenticabile la cortesia, ,la disponibilità e la discrezione della Sig. Maria Luisa. Da ritornarci. Sicuramente

La casa è molto bella, vicino al mare e a mezzo chilometro dal centro di lipari. L'abitazione è dotata di un terrazzo spazioso e suggestivo, di 3 camere, 2 bagni, una cucina, ingresso e veranda. Fantastica!!!!
Casa stupenda in riva al mare con terrazzo fantastico per cenare davanti al tramonto sul mare. 3 camere grandi, 2 bagni, cucina, ingresso e veranda. Accoglienza fantastica,tutto pulitissimo. Sistemazione ottima, spaziosa e a due passi dal centro!!! Da ripetere anche con bimbi piccoli!!!!

La poesia e la bellezza che ha caratterizzato la nostra vacanza a Lipari è stata senza dubbio esaltata da questa bellissima casa. Le colazioni fatte sulla veranda e le cene sulla terrazza sempre in compagnia di una vista mozzafiato ci hanno emozionato tutti i giorni. La buona organizzazione degli spazi, la presenza di due bagni ed i locali comuni hanno fatto "scivolare" tutte le fasi organizzative del nostro soggiorno! A completare il quadretto l'impagabile disponibilità dei proprietari, i quali una volta conosciuti, vi risulterà chiaro il perché il vostro soggiorno a Lipari vi rimarrà sempre nel cuore! Grazie di tutto!
