"I have stayed at this place twice. I will be again. It’s peaceful and nice. Love the pool and the beach few steps away. The rooms are airy and pretty. "

The morning buffet breakfast was all homemade with a combination of delicious eggs, smoked meats, grilled vegetables, pastries and cakes. The staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. Ben spoke four languages and made all the arrangements we needed for excursions and scooter rentals. He literally puts his whole heart into his job. We would definitely recommend staying here. "Bright, and clean with large rooms. Solid breakfast and early, a decent dinner menu but the service was excellent. Pool is not heated, probably best for summer as we found it cold. Just up the hill from Lipari which was nice for ocean views while dining, and quietness. "

"Amazing location, but the hotel is way overdue for renovation especially in the common areas. Staff was very helpful, but policies like having to pay 3 euro for a beach towel and every time you wanted it washed are at least strange. We had a nice stay overall. It could have been great if the owners would have made the much needed reinvestments."

"This was a very good hotel with a lovely swimming pool and the added bonus of a jacuzzi. Cleanliness was excellent with rooms being serviced daily to a high standard. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and welcoming. The complimentary shuttle bus to the port was a nice extra."

Despite the language barrier, Mr Nino offered to take us to the ‘the most beautiful sunset in the world’ on the first night and drove us to a magnificent scenic point. "You can't go wrong with the Arciduca! The place feels like your own personal villa in the heart of Lipari. Great lunch and dining options! The rooms are convenient and beautiful. Service is outstanding. Highly recommended."

"We were in Italy 5 weeks, and Lipari was my favorite place. We liked it so much we decided to stay two extra days. We used the common kitchen area and had an enjoyable time meeting others doing the same thing. It made our room seem twice as large. "

"Loved it so much we already plan to come back. Everyone so friendly and kind and helpful, best service with smile and always happy to help. The grounds are perfect, with space to chill and direct access to the beach with thermal water. Breakfast delicious, room very nice with sea view. A bit noisy from the port but we did not mind it. It was so beautiful to watch the vulcano above us. Eros made us to fall in love with this place."

"A good value place to stay. Handy for main areas, 15 mins from ferry. Good size room but the tiniest shower ever. Make sure you arrange a check in time in advance as there was no one there when I arrived and had to track owner down by phone before he eventually came and let me in."

"A great place to chill out on the terrace. Alessia and Paola were very welcoming and helpful. Salvatore picked us up and dropped us off in lipari port. The bus to town is frequent and steps away from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"We stayed in the old traditional Lipari home and it was absolutely beautiful. For a couple, there was nothing better than waking up to the view out over the sea in the morning as the sun was rising. The property was so quiet and peaceful too. We could have breakfast on the porch, swim and snorkel in the private rock pool and along the coast and shower outside beside the house. Antonello was our contact for our trip and his was so helpful and gentile. He really made sure that we were comfortable...

Charming Island Stay

"Charming hotel on an island hillside with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The morning buffet breakfast was all homemade with a combination of delicious eggs, smoked meats, grilled vegetables, pastries and cakes. The staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. Ben spoke four languages and made all the arrangements we needed for excursions and scooter rentals. He literally puts his whole heart into his job. We would definitely recommend staying here. On top of it, Lipari has beautiful panoramas and a castle spanning 3 different civilizations. So interesting and diverse! "

"From the moment of arrival we were greeted at the port Adriana and team made us exceptionally welcome. She gave us a very useful talk on places to visit and familiarisation to the island . The B&B was very well maintained and the room serviced every day. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of local produce. A very good stay we would love to return, Thankyou Adriana."
