"Communication was very good. The plumbing all worked right (we're on a budget, so a couple of previous rooms set the bar pretty low - they were all clean though), the room was an exceptional value (late October). We really liked the common kitchen area right next to our room - we used it a lot. We also liked Lipari so much we extended our stay for 2 more days in the same room. I don't remember if we ever got the WiFi working in the room. I was having phone trouble, but my wife couldn't pick it up either, so i think it was the signal. That was really the only negative thing."

"Bright, and clean with large rooms. Solid breakfast and early, a decent dinner menu but the service was excellent. Pool is not heated, probably best for summer as we found it cold. Just up the hill from Lipari which was nice for ocean views while dining, and quietness. "

"This is an excellent family-owned hotel with fabulous decor just a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. It's location about 3 minutes from the main street means it's nice and quiet. There is a fabulous breakfast from 7:30 each day. The bar is open (on request) all the time, and someone on the desk 24 hours. The staff are very helpful, with excellent English. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The air conditioner works well as does the shower. The towels were delightful. There is a very nice garden at the back with plenty of tables and chairs and lots of places to sit in the shade. Breakfast can also be taken in the garden. If you want the beach, the hotel will arrange pickup and van to take you to the Lido at Coral Beach to the north. It's a pebble beach. For the trip out and back for two people with sun chairs and umbrellas was 25 Euro. We stayed for two nights. I'd have been happy here for two weeks."

"From the moment of arrival we were greeted at the port Adriana and team made us exceptionally welcome. She gave us a very useful talk on places to visit and familiarisation to the island . The B&B was very well maintained and the room serviced every day. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of local produce. A very good stay we would love to return, Thankyou Adriana."

"Hotel is a little dated ( sunchairs could do with a refresh) but overall the service is 5 star and the rooms were comfortable and clean with good walking distance to centre of town - be aware it is uphill though so if you have mobility issues not the best choice "

"You can't go wrong with the Arciduca! The place feels like your own personal villa in the heart of Lipari. Great lunch and dining options! The rooms are convenient and beautiful. Service is outstanding. Highly recommended."
