"We stayed at Le Castel for 2 nights during a trip to see the beaches of Normandy. The town of Bayeux is charming and the Normandy region is beautiful! Le Castel is conveniently located in town, and walkable to all the charming restaurants, shops, and attractions in Bayeux. My complaints fall with the lack of accessibility of staff. Nobody is there until 5pm for check in. I messaged the property to request check in at 4, or at least to see if we could leave our luggage, as we arrived by train...

The pool and hot tub make it even more pleasant. And what a feeling to be surrendered by all those horses. "The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
