The Coach House welcomes you for the perfect getaway!
The Coach House is situated on the grounds of our working farm close to The Farmhouse. Dating back to at least Victorian times, this building originally was The Coach House for visiting carriages and has been sympathetically converted into accommodation. Views from the cottage, which is all one one level, extend out onto a hay meadow and lakes and internally the property enjoys its country charm with exposed beams. It’s a tranquil, cozy cottage that we are sure you will love as much as we do.
The Coach House is a self-catering, self contained unit adjacent to The Farmhouse. It features two bedrooms - one with a king sized bed, and the second with an adaptable space with twin beds or a super-king bed. The property enjoys one bathroom with a shower and a roll top bath. Cooking facilities are with a traditional style Rayburn in an open plan living area, and there is an open fire within the property with a dining area for four people. Parking for 2-3 cars is available in front of the property. A TV with Freeview is available, although we do not yet have WiFi in the property. A small area close to the hay paddock is available to sit outside and enjoy the views and nature in the nearby hay meadow.
We welcome up-to 2 dogs, 1 dog cost can be purchased with your stay and we ask for an additional £10 per stay for the second dog. Please read our dog policy that will be sent to you before your stay.
(Please note this is a working farm environment - there will be increased farm traffic/noise from movement of machinery/equipment such as our corn drier during busy periods such as harvest in July/August/September. The farmyard is a prohibited area but located on the property. While we don't believe this will affect your stay, please be aware of this).
