Highland Games Weekend
Overall, the stay was quite enjoyable, The house was large enough for us and there was something for everyone to enjoy, The kids loved the hot tub and video games. The reason for the lower cleanliness rating was for dirty towels in the dryer and under a bathroom sink. Also, the towels were of very poor quality for this type of property. The check in process could have been better. We had to text message for the access code the day we arrived as it was not sent prior as was stated.

Perfect Ski Weekend
For those looking to do some skiing at Loon Mountain, you cannot beat this house - it is situated just 4 minutes from the base! The home itself has plenty of sleeping and lounging areas, with a big living room and kitchen for our whole group to hang out. It has everything you're looking for in a ski weekend. Patrick is a fantastic host who answered all our questions in a very timely fashion. We even had a small issue with a light that Patrick fixed almost immediately. Couldn't recommend this home more!

Guys ski trip
Everyone had a great time. We had 10 adults staying at this property and there was plenty of room for everyone. Fireplaces galore to warm up at night after being on the slopes all day. Super close to the Loon lodges which made it easy to get on the slopes first thing.

Lovely experience
The host’s attention to detail to ensure a wonderful stay exceeded expectation. Such a great property for a large group to have both entertainment and peace due to its number of living rooms, kitchens and its general layout. Excellent location and views. Not a lot to dislike about this place.

Beautiful setting and views
We stayed at the Mountain Chalet for weekend getaway with friends and had a wonderful time. The house is in a great neighborhood on Loon mountain with beautiful views of the mountainside. The house is very comfortable for large groups and ideal for couples with large bedrooms with king and queen size beds. The deck in the back provides a wonderful setting for sunrise and sunset views.

Disliked: Cleanliness
beautiful property, disappointed with the host
Patrick's property is beautiful and the location is perfect. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the property had inadvertently not been cleaned prior to our arrival, which resulted in significant inconvenience on our part. Patrick directed guests to another property, which was occupied unbeknownst to him. This significantly impacted our first night and morning (we stayed up past midnight washing sheets). In the midst of the disruption, Patrick promised (of his own accord, without me requesting) a series of reasonable refunds totaling about 1/3 of the total cost. Taking him at his word, we enjoyed the rest of the stay, checked out, then called him. At that point he admitted he had promised the refund but refused to process it, first stating that the refund was contingent on a 5 star review from me, and later wasting our time negotiating to a lesser than-agreed upon amount. If you rent this property I advise that you conduct all communication through the VRBO app (not the phone number he gives to text and call through) and make sure to go through VRBO to settle any issues prior to check-out. The property is phenomenal, and I hope that Patrick's integrity catches up with the quality of home.

Issues
Lets start with our arrival. Access code would not work. 7 pm on a Wednesday night in the rain and on motorcycles. Had personal number from an email. Voicemail was full. 800 number no answer. 9:30 pm made call for hotel. 8 people. Trash in garage from previous renters, hot water heater had mind of its own. 1 hot shower in three nights. Outside fire pit was a oversized charcoal grill base on the upper deck. Refrigerator door seal broken and need two hands to close. Only one TV hooked up. Very cool house, great for a large group and great location. House needs some love and attention, has potential to be amazing. But it’s not now. Our youngest in the group was 58 maybe we expect to much from the advertisement.

Ice Cold Weekend
I rented this property with a group of friends and lots of kids to go along with it during the record-breaking subzero temps in NH and I must say... thank goodness we rented this place! There was so much space and room for all parties to be indoors for 48 hours straight. Fabulous kitchen/living/dining room for the hosting the large group and 2 additional living room areas to allow the group to separate a bit. The host was very attentive to any minor inquiries and graciously gave us some extra time on our check out day given the cold weekend we happened to pick. Very pleased with our stay and will plan to return!

Wonderful home
Four families of 4 stayed for new years at this beautiful, spacious home right up the road from the base of Loon mountain. There were plenty of king beds for all adults and all 16 of us were comfortable. There are three separate living room/tv areas and new furniture throughout. I cannot recommend enough!
