"WiFi isn’t good, so to check in, go to management office. Signal better there too. Nice cabin and dog friendly. Failed to read it was one big room. Ha my fault, but the beds are spaced out enough that nobody’s random snoring was a problem. Nice woods feel."

"The cabin was very nice and very close to town, just five minute drive to mid-town. The cabin did not suffer in the flooding, though damage is evident along the creek. One quibble: not enough light in the bedrooms. Lots of deer, horses and elk visited. We shall return. "

I had some trouble finding extra linens (specifically pillowcases and an extra blanket for sitting on the couch upstairs) but found them eventually. "Just a lovely cozy home! Stayed 5 days and hated to leave. We sat on deck drinking coffee every morning and night. Saw mule deer Walking right by us and wild horses glazing in some of the neighborhoods. Home was stocked with everything u might need. Also had small reeding room with big windows overlooking deck . My favorite spot to relax. Hope to go back one day"

"Great retreat for all ages. The back deck was used to barbecue and visit. The upstairs was enjoyed by all for card games, shuffle board and the top deck for enjoying the beautiful sunsets. It’s in a fantastic location. Close to gas stations, Albertsons, Grindstone Lake and downtown Ruidoso. The cabin is nestled away from the traffic with gorgeous views and Elk visits throughout each day. "

"Great location near the main drag but not noisy (more below). Limited dining places - small table for maybe 4 and pony counter in kitchen. Picnic table outside. A/C unit and fans helpful in summer. Quiet street, though the exercise club started classes around 7 AM, as I heard the instructor through the rear bedroom window. Shower a bit small. Did see elk, deer, and wild horses in the area. If it is just me coming to play golf again, will be under consideration."

"I loved the view and the looks of the outside of the property. I did not like that we had a handicap and also there was no water pressure in the master bathroom sink. The balcony was very nice but a tree was in my view. However the birds in the tree made up for it because we also had a treeless view from the bedroom. My only complaint was the water pressure in the master."
