"Wonderful location, walkable, 10 min from train station easy access through park, quiet, safe. Room was impressive, 2 bathrooms one with bathtub, kettle, lovely sitting area in room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, plenty of options. Would recommend more coffee machines, always a line up!!! Would stay here again!!!!"

"A wonderful find! A quaint, small property that was perfect in every respect. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast buffet, and a spotless room. Hals is also convenient for sightseeing anywhere in N. "Bearing in mind that it was a Youth Hostel and not a hotel, we were very happy with our accomodation. The room was large and had a fridge which was a big plus for us. The beds were comfortable and everything in the en-suite bathroom worked well. The only downside was a lack of electrical sockets - there were two in the room and the fridge had to be plugged into one of them but we managed by charging a power bank when we were out and using that to charge mobile phones. "This is a great hostel with a perfect location out to the sea. Great for walks near small wooded areas, within walking distance to town. The staff was helpful, the facilities were well organized and there was a positive atmosphere among the guests. There was info about the area and options for day trips by car or on bike.
