"the spa is amazing and very nice breakfast. Overall , it's a very nice hotel to stay. but the service was a bit chaotic for us. we waited at the taxi station for more than 20 mins, no one came to pick us up, despite we called several times. we walked to the hotel with our luggages, the reception staff just explained that they were busy. I know you might be busy, but you could explain to me on the phone, or offer something alternative."

"The Hotel Helvetia was perfect for my short stay in Zermatt. I had read many of the previous reviews so I was prepared. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the train station, there is no elevator and my room was quite small but had a balcony overlooking the street filled with people. The hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants. This hotel was quite reasonably priced and in a great location."

Personnel was most helpful. Rooms were very clean and well-kept. Location worked out very well for us. "Great hotel, great location. The main train station and the Gornergrad train are 3 min away. The main strip with shopping and restaurants is 4 min away. Everything is just far enough away for the room to be super quiet. I did not have to wake up early and drag my luggage a long way to catch the train. There is a convenient ski rental on site. The breakfast has a good selection but their breakfast tea was not hot enough. The room was very nice and comfortable, although it tended to be on...
