"The property was perfect for us. The bedroom on the ground floor with adjacent shower room was ideal for my mum who has difficulty with stairs. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was great."

"We loved this spacious and comfortable gite which has lots of character and felt genuinely like stepping into someone's lovely French home. It's got a large lovely garden, including chickens, as well as interesting planting, in a peaceful location. The house is unique and an excellent mix of old and new. It was our first visit to Brittany and we really enjoyed exploring the local area, including beaches, touristy towns, as well as quieter, more ordinary locations, plus Carnac. I took many photos...

"We were late arriving but Andy was on site to meet us and we checked in immediately and even managed an evening dip in the pool after a hot few hours travelling. The pool was brilliant. Shallow enough at one end for the youngest child (3yr old) but deep at the other to challenge the older kids. Even though it’s a shared a pool we had it to ourselves most times we swam and we swam twice nearly every day. First the good things - the house is spacious with plenty of room for a large family, the swimming pool is of a high quality and also of a good size, the people of Meslan (notably the baker, the pharmacist and the bar-keeper) were absolutely lovely and among the friendliest people that we have ever met in France. The less good things - Splinters, the deck around the pool is not well maintained and I pulled perhaps 20 splinters from our 3 kids feet over the 3 weeks...
