"The place was beautiful. The accommodations were perfect! Two bedrooms with comfortable and tasteful beds. Lots of room to store our clothing and luggage. Beautiful garden with fresh tomatoes and peppers. Great kitchen! Great patio! The hosts were lovely and helpful! A wonderful home away from home! We highly recommend this place!"

"Unsere Zeit in der Ferienwohnung in Münstermainfeld war einfach wunderbar. Frau Steffes hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen, was uns sofort das Gefühl gegeben hat, willkommen zu sein. Die Wohnung selbst ist nicht nur äußerst sauber, sondern auch mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es ist deutlich zu spüren, dass Frau Steffes großen Wert darauf legt, ihren Gästen maximalen Komfort zu bieten. Die Lage der Wohnung war für uns ideal, insbesondere da wir eine Veranstaltung in Mendig besuchten....

"A very warm welcome from the family, also a flask of coffee on arrival which was delicious and a souvenir package to take back with you. The apartment was spotless, with a well equipped kitchen, tv, radio and really comfortable bed. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The location is in easy reach of many towns in the area. We would certainly book to stay there again. "

Ideal als Stützpunkt für einen kleinen Wanderurlaub, da Winkel praktisch im Zentrum der Vulkaneifel liegt und alle Highligts, wie die Maare, die Manderscheider Burgen oder Gerolstein mit seinen "Dolomiten" nach kurzer Fahrt zu erreichen sind. "The house is large with well-stocked kitchen and many areas for relaxing, eating and sleeping. We did not know we had to reserve the bedding ahead of time, so had no bedding the first night. This may have partly be due to lack of clear communication as the owner's English was not strong. The house also was not as clean as we would have liked and some elements were not working properly, such as one shower. The washing machine was not available (as it is shared) when we wanted to use it."

The paid parking lot was very convenient to the lodging (once we discovered the shortcut under the road and up some stairs). We didn’t take advantage of the sauna or the jacuzzi tub, but the washer and full kitchen was perfect. I was surprised to find that the bed on the top floor was a waterbed—I slept like a baby. "This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property!
