"They say Lierna is for travelers not tourists how true! From the very beginning we loved B&B in Maria villa! The home itself is a beautiful, stately manor. we were treated extremely well. We loved our room which looks over the lake especially the huge wooden sliding door that lets air in, but keep out bugs and sun sometimes when you don’t want it. "The spot in Lierna was a great launching off point for our several days on Lake Como. There is a ferry directly to Bellagio in the town and a great local restuarant we loved. Also a short drive to Varenna which is stunning. The town has a beach and the apartment has a pool so it was great for our group. I would stay there again."
