"Great place to stay. All the amenities you could need. Fantastic pool and plenty of outside space for everyone to enjoy. Some restaurants and shops nearby which are useful indeed. The host was excellent and we would love to return some day."

"We were 9 and had a great week at this villa. The pool area and pool house is where we hung out most of the time. Close to many beaches and Tropea. I would recommend for a large group that wants to relax and enjoy the Calabria weather by the pool. The communication with Francesca and Mimmo was great, very responsive when we called."

"Very large. It is very rare to find a villa with 3 bathrooms. Our host Antonio was fantastic. He drove us to the Port and made sure we were all set to go on our cruise. You will definitely need to have a car. The villa is tucked away. Very private. Definitely not in a tourist area. The host was very accommodating."

"Fantastic stay in a beautiful house, lovely gardens and tremendous swimming pool. Ginevra is a brilliant host and so helpful We loved Tropea and the coastline and will be coming back to the villa at some point It was just what we needed - just superb"

"The property was not what had shown to be , very small for a group of 15 people and the bedroom and bathroom in some of the rooms you can hardly fit in the showers , very small indeed, the swimming pool was amazing they all enjoyed themselves in pool, the view was beautiful some days and some days you couldn’t see anything because of the smog , the whole house was too small altogether"

"This holiday home is great for a couple or small family. Ideally located near the old part of town and also a small beach it has a large, safe outdoor area and a spacious lounge/living area. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Though old it has character and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot by the sea. "

"Communication with the host was outstanding. Any questions or concerns were answered and resolved quickly. The home is very comfortable, with ample room in the three bedrooms, and a beautiful pool out back. The top floor bedroom was a great space and the best views of the sea, you can see clear across to mainland Italy. "The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges...

"A wonderful house, the photos don’t do it justice! We were 2 families of 4 and had a wonderful time. Beautiful views, good pool and very comfortable (and thankfully air conditioned!) bedrooms. The house is about 10 mins (drive) from a super beach and 25 mins from Tropea. The agents Enticoa Travel were very helpful. Note, a car is definetely needed and the roads are quite winding but not a problem."

"The hotel is new and the room is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Beautiful and comfortable bed, large bathroom, great location. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. It was limited and the food didn't look fresh at the beginning of the year. Maybe they couldn't get supplies after New Year's Eve. All the rest was great."

"Nice top floor room with balcony at this small B&B of maybe 5/6 rooms. Overlooking the historical centre and down to the sea on the left. Great for access to the centre for shops and restaurants or down the steps to the beaches. Claudia super helpful , plenty of breakfast options. In the limited traffic area so had to park 400mtr away but quiet in Oct so no issues. Would stay again."

"This place is simply incredible! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and were so impressed with the hotel and incredible views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The resort was clean and safe, the beds very comfortable and the staff always friendly and helpful. The terrace is absolutely pristine and we felt like we had it all to ourselves at times during our October visit. The historic old town centre with plenty of restaurants and shopping is a short 7-8 minute walk away. Check out the Santuario Santa Maria dell'Isola and the beautiful sand beaches surrounding it. Shout out to Selena, Pawel the bartender and all the staff for making this trip such a memorable experience. This place will not dissapoint you and we look forward to coming back to Tropea and staying at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in the near future."
