Turn onto Buck Runs 1/4 mile long driveway and arrive at a secluded setting.There you will sit among 120 private acres. Buck Run sleeps 10. The highlight is the Great Room with large stone fireplace and vaulted ceiling. A full basement with outside entry has a bar, dart board and television with DVD player and WII system. High speed internet ,Internet basedTV (Youtube TV, Hulu ect.)in 3 rooms and DVD player on main level round out the electronic entertainment. At the top of the driveway you will find a building with our Ping Pong Room. Enjoy the Weber Genesis Gas grill with the first tank of gas on us. The Fire Pit is great place to relax and start the story tellin! There are 2 miles of winding trails for hiking, biking and XC skiing. We have 2 options for linens and towels. 1. Bring your own. 2. We provide for all beds at $75 for the stay. Buck Run is a large property but we DO NOT allow the shooting of firearms of any kind. Also due to insurance reasons we DO NOT allow ATV's at Buck Run.
Our beautiful spring fed pond offers fishing and swimming and features a dock with benches and a wide step ladder. The front porch has a wonderful view of the pond and is the perfect place to watch the sunrise with your first cup of coffee.
Primary guests must be at least 30yrs old. We are a family property and do not allow Bachelor or Bachelorette parties.

Winter weekend retreat
This cabin is our "go to" every winter to relax and escape life. We gather around the fireplace to eat, drink and laugh with friends. Usually deer to watch from the window and the trail makes for a beautiful winter walk. Cabin has all the "bells and whistles" so cooking meals is easy. We love that it is secluded and yet easy access to highway. Can't wait to visit this summer.

Beautiful property!
Property was well kept and very roomy. The maintained trails were exceptional! Wonderful pine forest with fresh pine smell. Only negative for me was the sound of traffic from Route 15 and 414.

We had an absolute amazing time here. The property is gorgeous, quiet, and clean. The hiking trails are very well kept, the dogs loved the pond and the freedom to run. We can’t wait to come back here and stay when it’s a little warmer.

Nature galore with all the comforts!
My family stayed for a long weekend and had a great time! There are many well maintained trials to explore in the woods and the pond makes a great place to relax! Our boys had so much fun playing ping pong and making campfires in the fire pit. And I’m sure our dog had the best time of his life!

A perfect getaway
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Buck Run. We loved exploring the trails and fishing in the pond. Our favorite spot to hang out was the porch with the rocking chairs. The home had everything we needed.

This glorious cabin was better than pictures! We used this rental as a base for hiking and exploring. The mom and kids loved it and the pond. We ate fished boated and swam. Great time! So many memories made.

The house was clean and beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone, including our two dogs. The pond was wonderful. The fire pit was fun. The trails were great to walk with the dogs. The separate building with the ping pong table was a blast. I would highly recommend this house to anyone that loves the outdoors!

A quick weekend getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of life.
Pretty much how it was described. The cabin and grounds were beautiful. I would love to come back when there isn't 8 inches of snow and explore more, although it was wonderful even with the snowstorm. Extremely pleased and we had a wonderful time!

Wessner Family Weekend
It was FANTASTIC! Your property is something out of a dream! We are a very outdoors family so it was just perfect for us. Did a 4.5 mile hike on Briar mountain, then came back to the house to relax, fish, cook and have an epic ping pong tournament. We laughed until we cried! We hope to be blessed to be able to come back!

Our family has an annual winter weekend usuallly for x-country skiing. No snow this year, but we had a great time hking the very nice trails, playing ping pong and darts, and enjoying our family time.

Great getaway
The property was incredible. We enjoyed every minute. The hiking trails on the property and in the state parks were unbelievably beautiful. We had a bit of an issue with the grill that was provided and we did waste a day trying to remedy that but our host did come through with a brand new grill for us. We will definitely go back.

The house was beautiful and very accommodating. The owners are amazing to work with. I was there to umpire the Little Keague World Series and had my family stay at the house. It was a beautiful and easy 35 minutes to the complex.

This place was amazing, perfect for 12 friends and kids!
My husband and I, my college friends and their kids decided to get together for a weekend to go to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and Cherry Springs. I’m so glad we found this property, it was amazing and had all kinds of walking trails. The kids took the canoe out on the pond and my husband caught a bunch of fish. We walked along the creek and the trails and found blooming wildflowers, lots of birds and heard quite a few owls. The set up of the three stories of this log cabin was great for getting some privacy. We maxed out with 12 people and everyone had a place to sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, and despite the fact it rained most of the time we were there, we had a great time, playing games and hanging out on the porches who looking at the view. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet, relaxing and private stay
Lovely place! Enjoyed the privacy including the woods and pond. Kitchen had everything we needed with up to date appliances. Enjoyed use of the grill on back porch. Nice to have 3 queen rooms. Appreciated that we could include our golden retriever. Location is convenient to Pine river access for kayaking, the Pine Creek rail trail, National Park and close to Wellsboro. Up to date appliances and grill. Owners, Ray & Melanie were wonderful to communicate with. We would love to stay again sometime.

We loved the cabin. Really had a great time. Only complaints we have is the power went out for a little time and when we arrived there were not enough beddings for all the beds. One big complaint is the firepit was to far from the cabin an downhill . So we couldn't enjoy it. hosts were excellent and took immediate action to our problems. Ty Ray and Melanie.

Everything one could want
Superb rental house. I have rented many and this was the best. It’s the kind of place that there are 2-3 times of everything you could want. The home is maintained beautifully. The furniture is very comfortable. It is not the few cheap sticks one finds in other rentals. It is a home and not just a house. Don’t pass this by!

You couldn't ask for a better house or host!
What a fabulous place! The property is beautiful, and the house is comfortable, clean, well-appointed, and organized. And I can't say enough good things about the hosts, Ray and Melanie (and their property manager and cleaning crew!). Half of our family got stuck in Western New York's blizzard, and they were so kind and accommodating as our arrival plans shifted by the hour. Although some of us got there a few days later than planned, we had just enough time to enjoy sledding, board games, and a lovely evening by the fire. We'll be back for sure!

No better way to turn 65
Cannot say enough positives about the place- previously stayed in coudersport but the stars in liberty just ass spectacular. Came to celebrate a 65th birthday. The kids- 9-13 had a blast fishing, boating, basketball, ping pong and yard games. So did the “old folks “. Plenty of seating around the table. House is spacious and never felt cramped, even the 2 days we had 11 people. Kitchen was awesome and nothing lacking. Loved the paths and walked many miles. The pond is amazing- great dock! Really looking forward to a return visit!
