"I booked an apartment a few days earlier which was not active, vrbo was fine to work with and issued a refund. This was intended to be a replacement for that fumbled rental. It was also a bad listing or scam. Never got ahold of the apartment manager and couldn’t check in. VRBO said they would give me information to handle a refund but have yet to do so. That’s 2 bad apartments in 2 attempts in 3 days. Vrbo needs to do a better job of managing their inventory and their refund process is so bad...

"The property was damaged, not clean, did not have the necessary bedding for all the “beds”. The communication stopped from the manager as soon as I made them aware of the condition of the unit. "House was pretty good overall. Beware of the water source. The well water is extremely salty and not drinkable. we lost a day of being able to use the pool and all of the shower and sink water is well water which was not described in the bio. The host got the pool cleaner to the house and had the pool ready to use within 8 hours of arriving which we appreciated. Other than that the house was great. "
