We didn't explore the city, but it seemed clean, safe and is a very convenient transient location

This is a busy town. We drove through on the way to Arenal, but chose not to stop due to narrow streets and limited parking. (We saved our lunch stop for the scenic Arenal Brewery.)

It’s a small city but there are a few fun places to go. People are very nice
