Dating back to 1910, this charming holiday property provides very comfortable accommodation. West Burton has its own natural waterfall, once sketched by Turner, a large village green and no through traffic.
Surrounded by stunning scenery with footpaths from the village leading to open fields and the wide open countryside, or cycle the country lanes amidst the natural beauty of this unspoilt corner of Yorkshire. West Burton has a pub, shop and tea room. Visit Aysgarth Falls, Hardraw Force and Bolton Castle with Forbidden Corner and Semer Water nearby. Leyburn and Hawes are just a 15-minute drive away.

Craven House, West Burton
Excellent house, comfortable and good sized rooms. Good cooking facilities. Lived up to the description on line. The shower in the en suite room was inadequate, giving a very poor flow of warmish water. It was unclear whether I was booking via VRBO or via Cottages.com; this is an issue we have had with previous rentals.
