We were only here for one night for a concert but everything was perfect! The concert was at rupp and it was only a 20 minute walk so location is perfect. The place was very clean and the owner is very friendly! He keeps a lot of things stocked in the room so if you forget anything he has you covered! I would recommend anyone staying
This was our second time staying here, and I have no complaints. The room is as advertised, well-stocked, and comfortable. It was perfect for a quick trip to Lexington to visit our son.
Big old house walkable to breweries and restaurants
the room was small and cute but it was all we needed! we did use the refrigerator/freezer and coffee maker! the patio out back was so nice but we didnt get a chance to use it. Lexington is a nice town. we would stay there again!
The location is a bit noisy traffic wise, thus the 4 stars
Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to Keeneland and downtown area. The host was very responsive. The place was clean, quiet and cozy. Perfect for a couple
Quick trip to Lexington to see a show. Clean Comfortable, Quant and Walking Distance. Barry was very helpful and even went out of his way to ship our coats back to us we left hanging on the back of a door. Enjoyed our stay and will certainly stay again the next time we are in town. Thanks!
Had been at Keeneland and perfect place for one to sleep. Great for a parent of a student to stay somewhat close to campus. Enjoyed the quiet to relax and get some work done.
Such a unique and special experience staying with Kevin. This was my second time staying in the Broadway Apartment and it was just as fabulous as the first time.
So cute! The bed was super comfy. It was the perfect distance from lots of attractions. I felt safe in the neighborhood as a solo traveler. Kevin was great with communicating. I would stay here again.
Absolutely loved this sweet little place...everything we needed. Immaculate and full of character.

Great space and comfy bed - beautiful house and neighborhood, convenient to downtown. The only thing I’d mention is the entrance is dark, the key box is unlit, and the door lock is old so it was a bit wonky getting in and locking up to leave, but the living space is very cute with lots of towels, snacks, etc. Great place!
Just passing through and would definitely make this a stop through again. The room was extremely comfortable. So much we overslept. Anything you need is walking distance. Definitely a five star place.
Great accomodations.
Walking distance to everything (breweries, donut shop, downtown).
So comfortable. Well decorated.
Owner even checked (messaged) during our stay to make sure everything was going well.
We will be back.
The room was spotless, cozy, and inviting and in a great location near downtown Lexington. Even though it was in a densely populated area it was quiet and private. We didn't have any issues with noise and barely saw anyone.
My first VRBO booking has set the bar so high! Barry was very easy to work with and his place is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful is an understatement!!! His hospitality is amazing, with thoughtful amenities and extras that the average traveler may forget (i.e. snacks, plates, silverware and even bathroom toiletries). Overall, such a great place to stay. I will be booking this place again with Barry on my next trip to Lexington, KY!!!
My wife and I were attending a concert at Rupp Arena. Room was cheaper than local hotel with real historical character. Really well thought out set up. 5 blocks from Rupp Area which one can easily walk in 15 minutes or less. Through Transylvania college campus and historic homes of downtown area. Plenty of good eatery close by. Owner was super nice and eager to help with any questions. We will definitely be staying here again in future!
Don’t get me wrong it’s a cute room and it was clean. What I didn’t like was when I booked the room it said check in was at 4 and even on my itinerary it said 4 o’clock then I get a email saying I can’t check in till five.. The morning of I get a email saying that the air conditioner is broke, but there was fans in there and it shouldn’t be a problem.. Because it was hot in there it made it hard to sleep, I talked to a tenant that lives in the building and they told me that the air had went down days ago and someone had already come out and it should’ve been fixed. But I was told it went out that morning. This was our first time ever getting a bnb not sure if I’ll do it again or not..

Unexpected
it was hard to find, and as I was travelling alone, I felt the surrounding area was unsafe. A block away there were Pawn shops and homeless people leaving a negative impression. I was even approached when I stopped at the local WalMart by a homeless beggar. I didn't like walking through an alley to get to the room, but at least it was well lit. The room was clean and well equipped, (except a toaster would have been a nice addition. ) A room for one, as it was smaller than I had pictured. There was no restaurant within walking distance that I would have even considered. Going downtown was a nice area... not walkable for me, and even with that, hard to find parking close to restaurants I might have tried otherwise if it wasn't dark. The TV was hard to figure out, and had to be re-set by the owner after it wasn't working right for me. All in all, I would not stay there again. However, the owner was extremely nice and answered my questions. It just wasn't described accurately considering I explained my situation as travelling alone and looking for a safe environment.
