We visit family in Lexington often and we prefer a home like atmosphere over a hotel. This met all expectations for that. Location is easy to get to and host is responsive to all communications. We will stay here again in the future.
When we got to the home there wasn’t any heat on. The thermostat said 51 degrees. Since it was so cold we turned on the heat and left for several hours so the house would warm up. When we got back several hours later it was only 66 degrees. It eventually got warmer while we were sleeping in the night. I contacted the host and he apologized about the situations. But the next day we wanted to stay maybe 2 or 3 extra hours since the event we were in town for had not started yet but he wanted to charge us for that. He said it had something to do with the maids schedule. We figured he would be more accommodating since we had to deal with the heat situation and we had to leave the home just to warm up the night before for several hours. We did check out at 10 a.m.

Katie's wedding
Everything was great. I would recommend leaving more than 1 garbage bag, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and less than a half a roll of paper towels in the home for a 5 day stay.
My family and I really enjoyed staying here. We wanted to stay longer. The neighborhood is very family friendly and peaceful. The host was amazing, he communicated with us and checked on us throughout our stay to see to it that we we’re comfortable and had what we needed. I recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Lexington for extended days. Thank you Carlos, stand up guy indeed!

Property was not ready to rent, replacement and repairs needed. I would like to send pics. The worst place we have ever stayed at.
I enjoyed the stay the house was nice I had good communication with the host when needed. Plenty of room for everyone the backyard was big and nice didn't have any disturbances during stay neighbors were very quiet never heard anything from them. Liked it had a carport to park my car so I could see it at all times the bathroom was big and nice and there's a bedroom with a half bath in it that was a good addition also overall I think it was a good experience! Host was super nice I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
We were in town for a wedding reception, and ha ing something with 3 bedrooms 10 minutes away was huge. The check in process was easy and the house had most of what we needed (bring your own coffee). This property wasn’t in the best condition as it wasn’t super clean, had cigarette butts in the fire pit-which isn’t a huge deal, just shows a lack of attention to things. The cosmetic enhancements to this house seemed rushed and not if the best quality. I definitely do not regret staying here as it was in budget and a great area. Other people may be pretty disappointed if they stayed at this property if they are expecting a cute, well maintained property.

Charming but needs lots of repairs.
It’s a cute little house with a large back yard. It’s without a doubt a very old house that needs lots of tlc.
The fridge tilts back against the wall. (Top of fridge lies against the wall as the bottom is about 6-7 inches away from wall) The handle to the fridge and freezer are both missing.
The handle of the dresser falls off when you touch it. The bolt at the front door is backwards. The kitchen sink handles are installed backwards.
The light switch in the one bathroom is inside the shower. I doubt that’s to code. The kitchen cabinets seem to want to fall off the hinges when you open them.
Bring your own pots/pans/kitchen necessities due to almost nothing being provided. A trip to the Dollar Store by the host or owner to provide what’s needed is appropriate in my humble opinion.
There was some trash in the yard when we arrived, but not a big deal.
The toilet runs all of the time. Shaking the handle helps. The host/owner probably has a large water bill due to the toilet running so much. New guts in the toilet will fix that.
There’s a few other things here and there that need to be addressed.
All in all, it’s not a terrible place to stay. It’s affordable, charming, and cute, but it just needs to be repaired, upgraded, and under code.
The host was kind and replied quickly. It was easy to enter. Washer and dryer is provided with detergent. We had a little trouble with the Wi-Fi, but we just reset it, and it worked again.Beds/couch were comfy to us.It was pretty clean.
Not exactly ready to be a overnight stay property.
This property was meant to be a long weekend stay to visit family and attend a wedding at a nearby venue. The owner/manager was easy to access as far as communication. However, there are a few things we had pointed out during our stay that didn't seem to register with the owner/manager. When we arrived, the bathroom had one set of towels/washcloths. The property sleeps a minimum of 6 people so two towels and two washcloths was not sufficient for a 3 night stay. After contact, he did arrive with an additional three towels and washcloths. Again, not really an adequate amount for the 6 adults for a 3 night stay. The bedroom door to the first bedroom sticks when you close it. Twice we had to push from the outside to open the door. Try not to close the door if you are without a friend to help you out. The television in the back bedroom would not work adequately due to the power cord having to stretch to be plugged in. There was molded take out food in the microwave, the back bedroom smelled of smoke, the bathroom was missing lightbulbs, and no extra blankets for the beds that had very thin comforters. The listing stated the property has a fireplace, toaster, and other things not in the property. This would probably be a great rental property for someone but during our stay it was not really ready to serve as a vrbo.
We were underwhelmed to say the least. Property needs updating and the amenities were somewhat to be desired.
Beds were not comfortable. Overall, it was fair but did not
WOW us.
