"We had a wonderful weekend stay. The home is spacious and very well laid out. Our group loved to gather in the kitchen and main livingroom area and had a movie night on our second night in the basement, really great set up for a bigger group! Hot tub is a lovely bonus, we didn't have the chance to walk down to the lake but we enjoyed the view from the deck and dinning room. The home has really nice furniture which isn't always the case in short term rentals! Host was quick to respond to any...

"On this occasion, we were in Nova Scotia for a family member’s Celebration of Life and decided to extend our visit by staying at the Beacon. It is a wonderful place, and we were very comfortable and especially enjoyed the ocean views. We also had a lovely family gathering, with a BBQ and dessert by the fire pit. The only drawback is the condition of the access road - hopefully for those who use it frequently it will be fixed! Thanks for everything!"

"I thought the property was OK. A few things stood out in which I was a little confused with. One is if you post a hot tub on site ....show us the Hot tub. There was no hot tub. Next please clean the BBQ It was very dirty and needed bigtime cleaning. Also when you have a firepit please have wood available. I stayed at many VRBOS and everyone had plenty of wood. "Property was under construction, but this did not hamper our stay. Was clean and location was ideal. Would love to visit again once construction is complete. We loved the patio and spent most of our time outside."

"The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "
