Stunning Downtown Studio in Lewes

A first-class studio, newly constructed @ Preservation Forge, located in the heart of downtown Lewes--named 2022 most beautiful city in America--a stones throw from the beach, boutiques, restaurants, & cultural destinations of this charming town. Custom wood details from Old Wood Delaware (visit our store on the first floor of the building) make this a strikingly beautiful space. It boasts a king bed and pullout queen sofa bed, stocked kitchen, lounging space, and full bath with designer tiled shower, and washer/dryer.

-The Space-
Stepping into our charming, newly renovated studio, you will enjoy the old brick columns and reclaimed wood details, including the antique support beam, and solid wide plank white oak flooring. The king sized bed is beautifully appointed with the softest linens. In the gathering area, there is a comfy loveseat (which folds out into a queen sized bed with an upgraded memory foam mattress) and a large Smart TV. Behind the loveseat is a large antique wood slab sofa console which duals as a work or dining space with three stools. The open layout includes a fully stocked kitchenette with a honed granite counter and custom tiled backsplash. There is a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, induction stovetop, microwave (which is also a convection oven), and kitchen disposal. You’ll appreciate all of the accent lighting throughout, that enhances the ambiance of the space. A stunning fully custom tiled designer bathroom includes a custom floating white oak granite-topped vanity, highlighted by under cabinet lighting and a backlit vanity mirror. The bathroom is stocked with body soap, shampoo/conditioner, and luxury towels.

The suite offers its own private digital keyless entrance. Included is 1 private parking space as well as free on-street parking. Enjoy your private deck off of the kitchen, including outdoor lighting. In the exterior storage closet, down the entryway steps, you will find a beach cart & chairs to use as a courtesy during your stay.

Had a lovely weekend stay here! The studio was beautiful and the well laid out. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect to walk to the shops and restaurants of Lewes. It is very nice that it offers a parking space. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Mary is responsive and a great host. The property was very clean and well stocked. It’s a great location! About 15 mins to the main beaches and a block off the main strip of Lewes. Great restaurants just around the corner for romantic meals or dinner with the family. Steps away from grabbing ice cream before heading home each night! Would stay again!

Lewes Getaway
Studio B was beautiful, as pictured, with every amenity one could need. We loved the location as we could walk to restuarants, museums and historical sights with ease. Lewes is lovely and quaint, especially in the fall. The location of the studio makes travel in and out of the area very easy.

Beautiful Studio Rental
Studio B is perfect for a couple looking to explore Lewes. The rental is new and modern. Everything was sparkling clean. The location is only a block to restaurants and shops. It’s only about a 15 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay again.

Downtown delight
A location described as good turned out to be great, only a block away from food and drink and entertainment in historic Lewes. A sunny spring break came with chilly breezes that kept beach time to a minimum but there was plenty to enjoy indoors and nearby without battling crowds and traffic. The apartment is ideal for couples or singles like me and big on comfort and convenience, not to mention easy contact with the host. This is a real make-yourself-at-home kind of place.

Great Beach Getaway
We enjoyed our stay in Lewes very much. Studio B was a great place to retreat after biking and going to the beach every day. The property is located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Modern touches and exceptionally clean! Off street parking was a plus. *For those that are sensitive to light, the window bamboo shades allowed the morning sun and property bright lights at night to penetrate through. We had a great stay and would return again!

A New Favorite
The property was beautifully renovated with no shortcuts taken. So many nice touches and thoughtful details. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops while tucked away quietly. We had an unexpected early departure due to a family emergency and were treated kindly. The cleanest property we have ever rented. Can’t wait to return.

Nice Accommodations near Historic Lewes
The property was very clean and was a comfortable size for the two of us. In many ways it was like staying at a hotel without the fuss of a lobby while having more privacy and a much larger space. You are basically a street over from the main restaurants and shops in Lewes plus a short drive to the beaches. The property was well supplied with all the essentials and a nice welcome note awaited me upon arriving. Do note there are steps as this is a second floor unit so those with mobility issues may need to be aware. The bathroom was very clean, and it was properly mai tained. We did not need to avail ourselves of the beach supplies, but some are available. I would stay again and recommend the unit for couples, solo travelers, or small families.

Beautiful studio in a very convenient location
This studio is superbly furnished and has an abundance of comforts. The bed is so comfortable that we are looking into buying one just like it. I'm kind of a shower geek, and I found this one to be topnotch. We really appreciated the designated off-street parking spot and the beach chairs, umbrella and towels. The hosts are very communicative and welcoming. Not a negative, but just a heads-up, the bamboo window shades are not very effective at blocking out the streetlights and morning sun. So, if you're sensitive to that I'd suggest packing a sleep mask. We'd definitely stay here again ... or maybe try out the larger unit next door.

Second time staying
We love this property’s location! There are so many fantastic walkable restaurants in downtown Lewes. The beach is a short drive, as are numerous other attractions like Big Oyster Brewing. If you want to venture even further to Rehoboth, it’s easy to secure transport via Uber or Lyft. The property is perfect for couples looking to get away for a long weekend! We’ll definitely be staying here again.
