"It's in the city center so most of the sightseeing places are in walking distance. Close to the Waverley train station. My room has two floor which gave good separation with 10 people in the room. Room was warm. My building did not have any break room, so I had to go out to the different building for water. Bed was clean, though height was too low to sit straight. Toilet was a bit smelly, but overall, okay."

"Great hostel located in the center of old city, walking distance to everything. Our family of 5 rented an entire dorm room of 4 bunk beds and it was great. Each had a private curtain to pull and had 2 private showers and toilets in the room. A little loud in terms of thin walls and noisy floor when walking, but nothing a pair of ear plugs could not fix for light sleepers. Great bar attached made for a very fun place to hang out. "

"One of the best hostels we have stayed in. We had a private room, which was large and we had plenty of room. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic, in the middle of the city centre. Unfortunately, it is an old building and sound travels around it. Our room was next to a door and we could hear it banging closed all night as others moved around the hostel. The hostel does supply free ear plugs, which helped somewhat. "My family of four adults just needed a place to sleep after getting off a bus tour and before boarding an early flight. I booked a whole room, so we would have it to ourselves, but there are common bathrooms shared. Property was clean. We lucked out and got to take part in a trivia night in the bar. We lost but had fun. Food and drinks were good. Location is awesome. We roamed the streets and walked to the castle one last time before going to bed and catching our flight."

"Great place , clean, friendly staff , room was a good size for 2 people. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is 35 min walking from the center."
