"We enjoyed staying at Orchard Cottage. Please should be aware however of noise from the highway and trains. If people do not like night time noise they should consider something else. Whilst there was a lot of crockery to use, a lot of it was chipped, so I would suggest to the owner to renew the crockery. "Cute and cosy little cottage with old worldly charm. It felt like we had stepped back in time. I loved the artworks on the walls. Was a bit dusty but the Bathroom is new and immaculately clean. The beds were so comfortable and the heaters and fireplace were amazing! My only issue was it was listed as 4 bedrooms but is only 3 with the 3rd bed being a pull out sofa lounge in the lounge room. I would stay there again and I’d recommend to others but I’d make them aware that it’s only a 3 bedder."

"Piccolo presents as it is explained. It is very comfortable for two people, the bed was very good and the kitchen is well stocked with all you need to self-cater. Michael also provided lots of helpful hints about what to do and where to eat. We would certainly return."
