"Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!"

"I really can’t fault this Hotel. Very friendly family that run it. The bed was one of the comfiest I have slept when away from home. The Breakfast was excellent. As for slight improvements I would suggest a slightly larger Television and the shower struggled to keep a steady temperature. I would definitely stay here again"

Staff at the hotel were really accomodating washed and dried our towels and tshirts as we had been on the beach. "We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in.
