"Location of property was perfect, right in the town centre. It was large enough for 5 adults and 6 kids. Layout is slightly awkward in terms of kitchen at one end of the apartment and living room at opposite end. Besides that point, we loved it! "

"An excellent stay in a good property, in an ideal location for Dogs Bay. We were disappointed that the garden shrubs screened the view of the bay. We were unable to make the heating system work ideally for us. We would have appreciated a change of bed linen during our 3 week stay. In all other respects a lovely property which we enjoyed greatly."

"The house is nice with an amazing view. Had all we needed for a great stay. Waking up to the beautiful lake and mountain views was great. My kids also loved the place, there are sheep right next to the property and all the way up the mountain, the loved calling to the sheep. The owner is really nice and also close by if there are any problems (we had no problems). I’d definitely recommend this place."

"The house was really clean and felt very big. We enjoyed using th peat fire and Aedan was always on hand to help us out if needed. The price is fantastic for such a big house, in a great location with amazing views!"

"The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. There are electric blankets in the bed to help with the dampness. Not really sure if the water is drinkable. Martin the owner said it is but we...

"This is by far the best cottage rental we ever made. The cottage itself is fabulous, with an incredible view. It allowed is to visit a wonderful part of this planet. The owner, Tim, was very helpful and friendly; communicate with him before and during our stay was very easy. We felt welcome from the very beginning."

"We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. It is not modern, but we were not looking for modern. We had everything we needed for our 6 day stay and enjoyed it immensely."

"The setting for the house couldn’t have been better for what we were wanting. It was off the beaten touristy track, and the view from every part of the property was spectacular! "After our pervious week in 2022, we were delighted to return to Eileen's rental house. We were warmly welcomed, and then left to settle in. We appreciated Eileen contacting her "fish man" who came by and we purchased fresh scallops, hake and a fish new to us. We enjoyed the remoteness and the comfort of the house, settling in the big chairs to read and watch the changing views of the bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return."
