Chalet Lynx is a well maintained 10 person Chalet just fifty metres from the top of the Tourchet nursery slope and Ice Rink in Les Houches. Only five hundred metres walk from the shops, bars and restaurant You will find 5 ensuite bedrooms that can be prepared as King size beds or Singles depending on your preference.

THE BUILDING :
A traditional Alpine chalet with its own private garden, The elevated position offers uninterrupted views from the huge private terrace easily accessible from the main living area.

INSIDE :
Your accommodation can sleep up to ten people with five ensuite bedrooms (twin or double bed configuration available) over three floors with a total of one hundred and sixty square metres of living space. The main lounge area opens onto the spacious dining room and fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and coffee machine, catering for the whole party.
In addition there is a games room and tv area where you can enjoy watching the Sky TV channels. A separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Two separate WCs in addition to the en-suites.

OUTSIDE :
You can enjoy the uninterrupted views from the huge private terrace with a lovely eight person jacuzzi; the perfect place to relax after adventuring on the mountains.

GREAT LOCATION :
Set in the centre of Les Houches next to the Torchet Baby slope a short walk to the bus stop, Solary Brew Pub and local supermarket.

GETTING AROUND :
Chamonix Holidays will provide your group with tourist cards/Carte d’hotes which give you free use of the trains plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums. A night bus also runs from Argentiere to Les Houches and costs 4€ per person.

USEFUL BITS :
Of course, there is WiFi, provided by Orange, it is not fibre (yet) but it is a pretty good service. If you need to book a transfer from Geneva Airport we recommend Haute Transfer, Mountain Drop Offs and Swiss Tours. We can help organise ski passes so that they are waiting for you when you arrive. Please ask if you have any questions.

YOUR ARRIVAL :
Arrive any time after 16h and with our self-check-in process, you do not need to worry about being a little earlier or later than planned. You will receive comprehensive information on how to find the apartment before you arrive.

PARKING :
You will find space for 2 cars directly outside the Chalet.


Summer Top Tip - The Sollerey is only a couple of minutes walk away from the chalet at the bottom of the Tourchet nursery slope; they have a great selection of home brewed beers to offer as well as a delicious menu.

Winter Top Tip - This property’s perfect location means you can ski down (weather permitted) to the free bus service and get to any of the ski resorts within the Chamonix valley. The ski school will also host an evening once a week at the ice rink with free mulled wine, and torchlight descent of the neighbouring slope.
