"For two the room was a good size, the shower was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Staff were all really friendly. The continental breakfast was lovely, a good selection of pastries, meats, cheese and cereals. The coffee was decent too. Disappointed on our last morning we were told breakfast opens at 06:15, we waiting to 06:30 and still not open and unfortunately we had to leave for our flight. There are no immediate amenities in the area if you are going to be out of the hotel all...

"Beautiful location walking distance to citadelle and old town Besançon near breathtaking views and the gorgeous walking path along the river. The hotel had an eclectic and charming lobby/ lounge. Our room was on the ground floor of an annex type building. It was clean and simple. There is no air conditioning which was not a problem for us in early June but might be in mid summer. There is very limited parking on property and we had to find street parking which was not an easy feat - the staff...

"I stayed here for 2 nights in 4 days, same room both times so cannot comment on different room types. From the moment you walk through the entrance the welcome is very warm. Check-in quick and very friendly, glass of bubbly if that floats your boat. The hotel has the feel of a grand country house with generously sized rooms, a separate closet/ room for clothing etc and a good-sized bathroom. "Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location in Métabief area. Host was very communicative leading up to our arrival and made us feel welcome. Cleaning was arranged prior to arrival and they kindly gave us access to everything at the property. Great base for visiting Jura region and lakes north of Lake Geneva. Lake Neuchâtel is about an hour away and we visited Chamonix which was about 2 1/2 hours away."

"We wanted a place away from the urban area and this farm house didn’t disappointed us. It is a lovely house made of beautiful and expensive wood. We had to go through very adventurous mountain roads which we loved. Good facilities to have for a self catering location. Don’t expect a big market within few miles in the area. The owner Mr Burger who also lives next door has a very friendly and good personality."
