"We were travelling as a family of 3 (my sister and 9yr old son), as we were two women with a child and heard so much about pick pocketing in Barcelona, we didn’t want an apartment but an apart hotel so there was concierge. It was a bit tricky to find and it was the top floor of a building but there was a lift. The reception area was really clean and smelt really nice. "We only had a couple nights in Barcelona but the Casa Nova Guest House was perfect for us. Our room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The window opened to the street which was nice for a fresh breeze. The shared coffee and muffin station was really nice to have for our morning coffee and breakfast snack. There was a basket available with lotion to use and the use of hairdryer which was nice. Since we were early to check in, we found a great coffee/drink place just around the corner....

"Bit of an odd concept. No front desk. Just scan a qr code at a key box and receive your room keys. Quaint lift. Must have been nearly 100 years old. Generally good basic facilities but clean and secure. Just what was needed."

"The hotel and property are great! My room was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable The workout/sauna was perfect! The rooftop bar and 360 patio is wonderful and boasts a beautiful view. The pool, or sitting pool they refer to is underwhelming, and personally, I would not use it. The pool is located on the rooftop patio and right in the midst of the bar sitting area. It is small and would feel awkward to use and is better described as a lobby fountain/water display. The breakfast is a must! It was delicious with great selection of food and drinks for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend adding the breakfast to your daily stay. I ate in the restaurant once, and I would not eat again. I ordered the salmon, and it was very salty, on a bed of stir fried vegetables that were unpleasant. "
