"This property was charming and the staff were all so friendly and attentive! Room was spacious and I do love how the French separate the toilet from the bedroom and shower room! I just wish the tv had more English channels but we did not come there to watch TV anyway! And the hotel was walking distance to small shops and other restaurants. I would definitely stay here again! "

"It's amazing how only two people (husband and wife - they run this place) can make you feel welcome and like you come to the house of loving friends or relatives! They greet us with the smile, showed to our rooms and offered us dinner even it was 10 pm. When was last time you had such a service!?? Can't not to mention the dinner that was cooked by husband - simply amazing! This place shows you all the best you want in hospitality. Highly recommended, we’ll be back! "

Lovely old property

"This was a lovely old house from another era, an adorable private garden and situated at the quiet end of a lovely village. Could use some renovation and a more modern kitchen, if you were going to stay longer than a few days, but was fine for our short stay. Mr. Tixier was available just around the corner and by phone at a moment's notice which we really appreciated. He was responsive and nice--the things you need when travelling, as we were, in another country :) "

Best Location and Home to Explore the Dordogne From

"We LOVED our stay here! Our group was made up of five girlfriends and we could not have chosen a better home away from home. We all had our own unique and wonderful bedroom, there are plenty of washrooms to accommodate everyone and the dining area, living room and outdoor areas were ideal for 5 women to relax when not sightseeing. We used the hot tub daily (with the wonderful view of the cows in the beautiful pasture) - we enjoyed the pool a few times as well. We booked Chef Dimitri once during our stay and he prepared an amazing dinner for us. The owners are lovely and were very helpful before our arrival and during our stay. Honestly we can’t imagine staying anywhere else it was magical. "

"We had a wonderful time - the house is even more beautiful than the photographs. The garden is enclosed which is hard to see on the pictures but made it great for our dog. There is absolutely everything you could need in the kitchen and the house had a lovely atmosphere. We would love to return "

A hill top idyll

"We had a fabulous week, we were met by the lovely Florence when we arrived who showed us around and explained the property. The photographs online do not really do it justice and it exceeded our expectations.The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and all bathrooms had a hairdryer. The separate laundry room with an additional refrigerator was a bonus. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The beautiful garden was huge and well maintained with stunning views over the valley. We all made good use of the pool and sun beds although the only feedback we would give was that the few parasols there weren’t really enough for good shade poolside and do not work fully. All in all we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house and exploring the surrounding area."

Not in Les Eyzies

"The property is about 10 kilometres outside Les Eyzies. The stone house is well-equipped but is dark and smells of damp. It is surrounded by countryside but does not have views; the swimming pool is on a different property. Apparently it is normal in France for VRBO's not to provide sheets or towels."
