"Lovely comfortable property with the added bonus of a large well maintained dog friendly garden, situated midway between a beautiful beach and local amenities."

"We had a great week here in August. Large garden, lots of parking and many beaches within 30 minutes. You can walk into town along the river to get bread in the morning. The staircase to the upper floor begins in the master bedroom; we didn't mind this but some might. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. I would describe the style as shabby chic."

"Nice property, clean and tidy - we enjoyed our stay, but if I was the host and lived next door I would be anxious to welcome my guest not make them wait for 20 minutes on arrival. I would learn a few words of welcome in my guests language and to explain workings of equipment. Further, there was a whirlpool spar advertised which we anticipated to be a jacuzzi type bath but there was not one at the property. "This was an amazing place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this cottage. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, bedding was good quality. It took us a few days to get used to the pillows, as they are very different to pillows used in UK, but this is only a small matter. We were brave and used the swimming pool, despite the slightly cool weather. The gardens are huge but unfortunately we were not able to mae the most of all of the space as the weather didn't really favour sitting...

"Very comfortable stay. Very quiet and peaceful yet 5-10 minutes away from city, supermarket, beaches, towns. Many cycling trails nearby. Comfortable beds, huge garden and outside seating areas. A really lovely stay. "

"Brilliant accommodation in a lovely area. Clean and spacious. Plenty to keep the whole family entertained. The pool was quite cool but great for a quick dip. The WiFi was weak or unable to connect, so you need to ensure you have data. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.The games room was a huge hit with the teens!"

"We booked this property at the last moment for the 2 weeks over Christmas and the New Year, we wanted a place with a garden for our young Boxer puppy and nice beaches close by and could not have found a more ideal property and location. The advert said beach close by and that was the case with the nearest 100 meters away and it is a beautiful beach, other lovely beaches are only a few minutes by car, you will find lovely local shops 2 miles away that sell everything including a very tempting...

"Wir haben schöne, ruhige Tage in Cancale verbracht. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht, Brigitte und Patrick, die Hosts waren super nett und haben uns mit tollen Ausflugtipps geholfen. Leider war das Wetter nicht ganz so gut, so dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen müssen 😎"

"Excellent séjour dans le beau gîte de Anne et Alfred, anciennes écuries rénovées, avec préservation de tout le charme et le cachet du lieu d'origine ! Idéal pour une soirée conviviale au coin du feu et un bon dodo à l'étage ! Et super accueil de Anne, qui se fera une joie de vous partager l'histoire du lieu Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter des 14 hectares servant à la protection des animaux, nous espérons revenir une prochaine fois pour ça! Encore merci pour cette belle parenthèse...

"Great location and lovely hosts. Well equipped cottage although full of dust collecting objet and could do with a spring clean! Beware the steep stairs to upper loft. Not for kids or oldies. Loved the stay, the locals, the walks, the festivals and local swim spots."

"We had a lovely stay at this traditional old Stone property. The bedrooms were very comfortable but only one toilet upstairs meant going to the loo in the night wasn’t easy. Also the bathrooms only had hand held showers in the baths which wasn’t ideal. The housekeeper that met us was very friendly and helpful and explained everything very clearly. We had paid extra for linen (note it is 19euros per person not per bed which works out quite expensive). The pool and outside area was fabulous. The...
