Just a few minutes away from Deauville, Trouville and Honfleur, the cottages are located near the famous Cider Route, a variety of golf courses and many other attractions and activities are available at your doorstep. The 1.7 hectares of land will offer you the tranquility, nature and breathing space you have been looking for.
Ideally located to allow you to enjoy horseback riding, explore the local picturesque villages of Pont-l'Evêque, Cambremer, Beaumont-en-Auge, just to name a few, and famous historic sites such as the Landing Beaches, Tapestry de Bayeux and many more. This location offers you the option of playing a round of golf or simply enjoying the surrounding beaches - all are just a short drive away.
Furthermore, you can benefit from Manon and Xavier’s knowledge of the best local food artisans and traiteurs, think locally produced cider and fresh sea food! To top it all off, they have a wide variety of comic books (French) and DVD’s (old) at your disposal.

Très bon séjour
Merci pour ce séjour. Maison très au calme, très bien entretenue, bien chauffée, avec une magnifique vue et un immense jardin, et un accueil chaleureux de la part de Madame Gousset. Literie très confortable.

Kleines Fachwerkhaus mit großem Charme und Komfort
Bereits die Anfahrt zum Ferienhaus bietet Idylle pur. Vorbei an einzelnen Fachwerkhäusern und auf einer von Bäumen gesäumten Straße erreicht man das Anwesen der Gastgeber, welches einen grandiosen Blick über die nach Süden gelegene Landschaft eröffnet. Das Ferienhaus ist ein langgestrecktes, ursprünglich zu landwirtschaftlichen Zwecken genutztes Gebäude. Die umfangreiche und hochwertige Innenausstattung entsprach der Beschreibung und ließ keine unserer Wünsche offen. Hier haben wir uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders positiv hat sich die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin Manon im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthalts gestaltet. Nach einer herzlichen Begrüßung und vielen Informationen war die Gastgeberin zwar immer erreichbar, aber ansonsten waren wir ganz für uns. Le Nid de Merle bietet sich als idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Calvados an oder man kann hier auch ganz einfach die Ruhe genießen. Das Ferienhaus können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Renoviertes Landhaus mit tollem Ausblick
Wir haben eine ruhige und entspannte Woche in diesem charmanten, kleinen Landhaus verbracht. Das Haus steht auf einem Anwesen mit insgesamt drei Ferienhäusern. Die Hanglage erlaubt einen fantastischen Blick von der Terasse ins Tal. Die Ausstattung ist top, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Übergabe verlief problemlos. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nous avons séjourné pendant une semaine dans le gite "la grange". Nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour dans ce logement fonctionnel, confortable et bien décoré. Le calme était au rendez-vous, la vue est tout simplement magnifique, le domaine qui contient 3 gites est parfaitement entretenu. La petite aire de jeux pour les enfants est très appréciable. Traumhaftes Domizil
Ein wirklich traumhaftes Domizil, sehr ruhig, Wahnsinnsaussicht, sehr schön gepflegter, parkähnlicher Garten mit vielen Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder, toll zum Austoben! Auch die Lage des Hauses ist optimal, weil man sowohl sehr schnell am Strand, auf der Autobahn in alle Richtungen, als auch bei vielen weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten ist. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen. Satellitenfernsehen mit allen deutschen Sendern, superschnelles störungsfreies Internet, prima Küchenausstattung.... Alles super. Nochmal herzlichen Dank auch an die nette Vermieterin! Wir würden die Unterkunft sofort weiterempfehlen.

Quoi dire de ce petit joyeau? La maison est très jolie, équipée avec beaucoup d'amour par les propriétaires et ça se voit tout de suite. Dès le premier jour on se sentait comme à la maison. Il s'agit sûrement d'une adresse qu'on va garder pour y revenir en future. Le lieu lui-même est d'une absolute tranquillité, peu de traffic et une vue sereine sur le paysage de l'Auge. L'accueil par les propriétaires était très chaleureux et ils étaient toujours prêts à donner une aide ou des renseignements. La maison est bien située pour visiter les alentours, Pont l'Evecque et Honfleur ainsi que la côte. Même Caen et Lisieux ne sont pas trop éloignées. Comme déjà mentionné, l'équipement de la maison était parfait. La cuisine est une des meilleures équipées qu'on a vu les dernières années, facilitant la préparation de repas quand on n'avait pas envie de diner dans un des bons restaurants qui se trouvent partout. Un grand merci à Manon et son mari pour leur travail extraordinaire.

Un bol d'air au grand calme
L'endroit est isolé dans la campagne mais très proche de Pont Levêque. Le calme et la plénitude y règnent. La vue est grande, belle et très apaisante. Idéal pour un grand bol d'air ressourçant ! Tout est prévu à l'intérieur du gîte pour passer un moment confortable. A recommander !

magnifique maison normande
Très belle maison normande qui allie tradition et modernité. Décoration de très bon goût, propreté impeccable, équipements complets. Idéalement située à la campagne, elle est un excellent point de départ pour toutes les ballades. Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur, le pont de Normandie,Cabourg, Etretat, les plages du débarquement, Camembert, Pont-l'évêque et même le mont-st-Michel est à moins de deux heures de route. L'accueil est cordial et la propriétaire de très bons conseils. Bref, une adresse à recommander sans hésiter !

Wat een geweldige locatie...
Wat een geweldige locatie. fantastisch voor kinderen, met veel vrijheid. Prachtig uitzicht, en zeer rustig gelegen. Pont l'eveque is een prima uitvalbasis voor uitstapjes. Ook voor de shop-aholics zijn Caen en Rouen aan te raden. De eigenaren zijn gastvrij en geven je meer dan voldoende privacy. Het huis voldoet aan alle eisen. Kortom, de prijs kwaliteit is helemaal top!

"Un gite tout confort, très bien équipé (bonne literie, vaisselle, ustensile de cuisine...). Rien ne nous a manqué. Très belle vue sur la campagne. Chemins de randonnées, équitation, mer à proximité. Tom et Max ont très gentiment prêté leurs DVD à nos filles qui ont été ravies. Cerise sur le gâteau : Manon fait de très bonnes confitures (pas trop sucrées pour faire ressortir le goût des fruits du jardin), elle cuisine aussi des plats "maison" mais nous n''avons pas eu l''occasion de tester. Nous reviendrons probablement pour y gouter. "

"Magnífica casa. Situada ...
"Magnífica casa. Situada en plena naturaleza, con unas vistas impresionantes al Pays d''Auge desde la terraza. Los servicios se encuentran en Pont L''Évêque, a 8 km./10 min. El jardín es enorme, ideal para que jueguen los niños, y está muy bien cuidado. En la misma finca se encuentra la vivienda de los propietarios (que tienen dos niños pequeños) y otra vivienda para alquilar. En lo que se refiere al equipamiento, no falta de nada. Todo muy limpio. Los propietarios, muy amables, acogedores y discretos. Ofrecen algunos servicios extra muy interesantes: juegos de mesa, guías turísticas y préstamo de películas y cómics (gratuitos), venta de productos elaborados en la finca, confección de menús, etc. Nuestros hijos lo han pasado muy bien con los hijos de los propietarios y otro niño de la otra vivienda. En resumen, totalmente aconsejable."

"Comfortabel en zeer smaakvol ingericht huisje. Kraaknet en alles in orde. Geweldig uitzicht vanuit de living en vanop het terras op de vallei. Door de oriëntatie op het zuiden zelfs de tweede helft van oktober nog warm genoeg om op het terras te eten en te genieten van het zonnetje. Vlotte gastvrouw, die er is als je ze nodig hebt, maar verder de privacy van de gasten respecteert. We hadden veel plezier van de map met uitgestippelde wandelingen in een streek met mooie natuur met veel ree-tjes en vogels. Het gezellige Honfleur en het mondaine Deauville op een boogscheut, niet te missen. Een echte topper. "

"Heel mooi gerestaureerd, traditioneel huisje op het platteland van Normandie. Heerlijk rustig gelegen, maar toch dicht bij de vele bezienswaardigheden en de kust. Geweldig uitzicht op het platteland. Zeer volledig ingericht, schoon. Groot omheind terrein met speelmogelijkheden voor kinderen. Gastvrije en behulpzame eigenaars. Goed bereikbaar. Lovely renovated, traditional cottage at the country side of Normandy. In a calm, peaceful setting, yet close to the various attractions and the coast/beach. Lovely view on the country side. Very well equipped, clean. Large, closed space with a.o. playground for children. Hospitable and helpful owners. Easy accessible."

"Nous avons adoré le Nid ...
"Nous avons adoré le Nid de Merle et espérons pouvoir y retourner. Le gîte est joli, parfaitement organisé et la vue est magnifique. Les hôtes sont accueillants et disponibles. C'est un endroit idéal où aller avec des enfants, ils peuvent jouer dehors en toute sécurité et profiter des grands espaces."
