"The setting of the hotel is beautiful; however, the hotel is not particularly equipped to deal with international guests. My experience in August was anything but relaxing with screaming Italian children at the beach, unattended and unsupervised by their parents. The restaurant serves the same thing every day (i.e., pasta dishes), and the food is just average. I left two days earlier than scheduled. "Quadruple room was too small even for 1 person. We stayed in much bigger and better hotel in nearby La Spezia for half the price. Also the description was misleading, it said 2 double beds and 2 single beds, while it actually was 1 double bed (which is for 2 people) and 1 bunk bed. Check in was cumbersome as they couldn't explain in clear English that that room can actually take 4 people, also the room reeked tobacco smoke (though they changed it after). "Mauro was a gracious and welcoming host! The property, although secluded and if driving, is on top of a very winding road, is well appointed with a patio that offers a spectacular view of Lerici. The chalet was quaint as well, located at the bottom of about 50 stairs, making trekking luggage up and down a little challenging, but everything else makes up for that! There is little wi-fi, so if that is a necessity, you may need to provide your own hot spot. "

"A clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel with easy access to the centre of Lerici. The hotel has a pleasing view of the harbour, a great breakfast buffet, and the free parking was very welcome. The decoration is a tad dated, but it is all to a good standard and relaxing. I want to give a special nod to the catering staff who managed the breakfasts as well as the cleaning staff--they were very friendly and accommodating.
