"Traditional stone house, in a lovely little village, high above sealevel. The walk up the hill is truly exhausting, but ok we had been warned abaout that upfront. There is no local co-host on the ground to meet and greet you, so you will have to find your way on your own based on the route description, which has some flaws - in particular the house number was nowhere to be found... Once found, the house offers a spectacular seaview indeed. On the lower end of the experience: The beds are either very worn out and soft (master bedroom) or very hard and totally unflexible (other bedrooms). The interior is decorated more in the style of a provencal countryhome than typically greek, so it reminds a little of that Coldplay song: It was all yellow :-) Lots of cushions and carpets give it a cosy feel. The house was very cold when we arrived (night temperature around 7 degrees celsius, inside and outside...) so the first night was truly terrible. The heating features a hidden switch in a bookshelf, which was not mentioned in the house description. We only learned that via whatsapp from the owner on day 2 after complaining about the bitter cold. We were quite annoyed by the quality of the beds, so we decided to not stay for the full 2 weeks we booked (and paid) - we left after 5 days and rented something else, on our own extra costs. Sad, to summarize, but I'd say: There are many better options in the area. "

"All the staff were so lovely and welcoming! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re a solo traveller like myself. Love that they provide breakfast as well all freshly made everyday! I will definitely come and stay again when I’m back in Spetses! "

"The most friendly and welcoming staff I’ve ever encountered on a vacation anywhere, they went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and comfortable. They also pointed me in the right direction toward the best of what Spetses has to offer! The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with beautiful modern baths and ice cold air conditioning. I had a balcony with an incredible view! The pool was lovely and peaceful, although the hotel is a short walk to a beach club as well - where I spent a relaxing day of swimming and sunbathing. The breakfast was perfect, and was served on a beautiful patio by the pool under the shade of ancient olive trees. The hotel is also a short walk to the charming Old Port area, and on the way there are cafes, churches, gardens, and postcard-worthy villas under hills covered in pines and flowering vines. Their spa services are also top notch! I can’t wait to return someday."

"Very easy to deal with and lovely stay at the unique property. It's located in a lovely part of Greece with the nearby town having loads of great shops and restaurants. The property was clean, well maintained and had loads of space for people to do their own thing. Well equipped to cater for yourself and some of the restaurants also did delivery. Couple of points: Mattresses are quite firm, some toppers available would be good. There was a couple of bedrooms listed that were not either available or unlocked whilst we were there, I only realised this on my return and was why we had to have two people share who probably would have not wanted to - I should have raised this but in my holiday haze didn't realise and would have had no doubt this would have been accommodated by the lovely owner - just a point for if you're visiting to note. Directions to the property from the main road could be a little clearer too as took a while to find it and there are two Villa Bella Vistas in the Porto Heli area, this one on google maps. The art and the pool are the stars of the show, you the vibe here was really relaxed and I'd definitely stay again. "

"We had two little toddlers with us. The layout of the room was brilliant to allow them to take naps. Beautifully renovated hotel overall close to everything that Spetses has to offer. We were able to walk everywhere. Would definitely stay again. "
