About the property
Kingfisher Cottage enjoys a rural setting within the grounds of a historic, 50-acre estate in a charming part of rural Herefordshire. It's a fantastic place to stay if you're seeking a tranquil and relaxing break with your family or friends with everything you will need to feel right at home. Rolling parkland and a private woodland is right on the doorstep for leisurely strolls, while the cottage has been fully refurbished to offer a spacious place to stay with gorgeous views and luxuries including a hot tub and a stunning garden.
The space
The cottage is a bungalow, so accommodation is all on the one level. It's full of character and tastefully decorated in a traditional country style. The spacious living/dining area has a vaulted ceiling, while the Smart TV is positioned so that it can be watched whilst lounging on the sofas or eating at the dining table.
The separate kitchen is fully fitted with a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a dryer and a dining island where you can enjoy breakfast and snacks.
There are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room and the other with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be split into two singles on request if preferred. There is also a family bathroom with a bath, shower and two sinks.
Patio doors lead outside to the private rear garden which is fully enclosed. It also features a hot tub where you can indulge in a leisurely, relaxing soak or you can light the BBQ and cook up a feast to enjoy alfresco while enjoying the extensive views across the fields. Meanwhile, the shared, on-site swimming pool is also available to book for two hours per day via the app.
