Great little getaway from it all for Christmas. Really is like a tardis -looks tiny outside but roomy inside. Out in the middle of nowhere, perfect for what we wanted. No phone signal on EE - wasn't a problem for me but may be for some and the WiFi sometimes temperamental. Could have done with some more utensils (but we were cooking for Christmas) a long handled brush and a hairdryer, but other than that, no complaints. Plenty of heating and hot water. A lovely quirky cottage, cosy and comfortable and the hosts were very nice. The cottage is great for kids and well equipped. Right on the door step of two National Trust places so membership is a must. There is an outdoor games room and climbing frames for the children. All in all a great place to stay.
