"The place is as listed in a good location with parking. I didn't like handing over 500 euros in cash or having to rent sheets for 30 euros. Sheets should come as part of a holiday house. Unusual practice in this day and age. Aside from that, a lovely stay."

"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

The house is equipped for a holiday stay (no bath towels but hand & tea towels + bath mats provided - don't know if this is a French thing). Both showers are large and powerful. "We had a lovely stay in the gîte. It’s in a great location, surrounded by olive trees and with a nice view of the hills over which we could watch the sun rise. The neighbours were invisible, and so quiet that we were never sure if they were home. The house is spacious and nicely furnished, and the pool is great. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
