"Fabulous place! This is the second time I have stayed here, and it is truly a home away from home in Nelson. Perfect location, and within walking distance to most things. Amazing view. The unit itself is clean, and has everything you need. Definitely recommend! "

"Owner Corey lives next door, was very helpful, and came over to introduce us to his place. One of our party of 4 slept on the sofabed, which was comfortable but in the main living space - not an issue for us. The location neighborhood is a bit unusual, but fine, and a few minutes drive from downtown Nelson. We would stay at Corey's place again."

"Wow, Diane’s place exceeded any and all expectations for our stay. The unit below the main home was perfect for our Nelson getaway. The kitchen is large enough to get groceries and cook for the week, the biggest plus is being able to see Diane’s amazing pottery up close and personal! "The Bear Dean was the perfect place to return to after spending our days snowmobiling nearby. The home is welcoming, roomy and fresh. Where your thing is conversation in the living room or boardgames at the dining table, the space offered plenty of room to gather and have fun. "My friends and I were travelling to perform at a festival in town and this place was perfect. Large and comfortable beds, plenty of space to stretch and unwind at night and only a 9minute walk to downtown. Communication with host was so easy and we all would definitely come stay again! "

"The property is exactly as it is listed. Walk two blocks, and you are right in the heart of shopping and excellent restaurants. It was a great central location for hitting the ski hill as well. "We needed a place to rest and recover between two backcountry ski trips and this was the perfect place. Lisa was extremely helpful and accomodating during our visit. We loved the location as we could walk to everything. It is quite uphill to get back home, but not too daunting. The old house is very comfortable and furnished for comfortable living. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking even though we mostly went out. I highly recommend this place!"

"Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. "Great getaway for the 2 of us! Great place to be if your looking to just relax and enjoy or maybe your looking to reconnect! We did both. Use of the hot tub is a bonus under the stars on a clear night. Comfort abounds in this Vintage House from the bedding to furniture. All the comforts of home with the aged beauty of days gone by!
