Really doesn't have customer service down yet
for the cost, I expected them to help us plan our stay rather than just tell us that one snorkel excursion is complementary only and that the fruit is complementary the first day. It would take no more effort to help arrange other excursions. The villas are away from the sea and they really aren't secure (we didn't have any problems) but it feels off. I would recommend not staying in mushroom bay as all the activities are easily reached by boat and there is more to do at the other bay.

The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Located right on the beach front close to the boat landing, local boats (who take you snorkelling) and village life. Come for the culture, learning about the village life, exploring the islands, swimming and awesome snorkeling/diving. Don't expect to go shopping (save that for mainland), stick to local activities, hire a bike. The hotel staff will arrange snorkeling trips, scooter hire etc. So relaxing in the private compound, rustic stone walls, beautiful yet simple gardens. Pool with plenty of day beds to relax. Restaurant and bar. Day trippers come every other day or so for a few hours but you usually are out and about. They leave about 3pm so the place is quiet again. Cute spacious little huts with front porch to relax on. Be prepared for some mozzies due to plantation shutters rather that's glass windows. Air con blowing scares then off plus (supplied mozzie coils and spray). 4 post bed with net as extra production. Great air con. Wonderful stay. It was fun practicing our limited Indonesian which the staff seemed to appreciate. Loved lived this place. Sad to leave after 9 nights :(

The room is actually good for a laidback beach holiday. if you are looking to chill this is quite a nice place to stay. but my wife was a little bothered about the lizards and the sounds they make throughout the night so she could not sleep well. this is something inevitable and i am sure you will face this anywhere on this island. what we were really impressed with was the service. we bought some cup noodles to eat in the room only to realise there isn't any kettle so we asked the front desk for one but the kettle caused a power trip in our villa. they got the power problem settled really fast and immediate and got their staff to use the coffee machine to heat up the water for the noodles. then they helped to carry the noodles back to our room. their restaurant has one of the best cooked food. the breakfast is delicious which comes with eggs of our choice with bacon and sausage and veggies. we tried pork chop, grilled marlin and seafood and they were all really yummy.

It's a nice hotel with very friendly service. Breakfeast is also very good. We were happy with the place but moved after the first night because they are much better deals around for less money

Large clean airccon bungalow with a large bed and hot shower. Bungalows set back from beach in a walled garden - so no water views, but that's how it's advertised so no complaint. Great staff - any small problems we had we're quickly sorted out. Good breakfast (one of the better ones i've had in indo) Very quiet at night (definately not a party hotel!), and well located in Mushroom Bay - an easy stroll along the beach to bars and resturants. TIP - if your coming from Sanur get a boat that drops you in Mushroom Bay (we did'nt!). Hotel organised us a 7AM boat back to Sanur and it was cheaper then our one way from Sanur. TIP - If your going to hire a motorbike, dont get one from the guys at the mushroom bay beach - walk back up the street a hundred meters - there are heaps of places and about half the price)

Great customer service
We stayed for one night while we were transferring to the Gili Islands. The ferry company we had booked with the Gili Islands made a mistake, and we would have missed our boat but the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we got to the ferry terminal and hooked us up with a different company. They were extremely helpful. The hotel itself is what you expect on a rustic tropical island, though the rooms were very nice. NOTE: the dining options are quite limited around the hotel. There are some nicer restaurants at the resorts in the sunset beach area. It is a long hike from the hotel but the restaurants will pick you up and drop you off for free if you arrange for the hotel to call them.

Not bad, but a little run down
This place has seen its day. Not a bad spot, but probably not worth the price. Mushroom Bay is quaint. After touring the island, I'm still not quite sure if this area is your best bet, but everything is quite close. The owner/manager of this property is a really good guy and will go out of his way to make sure you're taken care of.

Separate lanais well set up
On a relatively quiet beach, good food and friendly staff but VERY tired eg torn towels, leaking taps, sometimes cold showers. One night had a very loud crowd behind the hotel, not one staff member around at 11 pm, so had to quieten them ourselves. The lanai is comfy and well appointed but desperately needs maintenance. Food tasty and reasonably priced. Have stayed 4 times, and the Lembongan roads are much worse.

Lovely accomodation in the best part of Lembongan
Overall experience was lovely - staff are very friendly, accommodation was located in mushroom bay which is in my option the best part of lembongan because it gets sleepy in the evenings and this is close to the water to watch the sunset and many restaurants. The view at breakfast is amazing! It's easy to take a boat from this location too. Accommodation itself was very authentic and was of traditional Indonesian hut style - don't expect a fancy hotel (this isn't what lembongan is about! If you want this then go to kuta), air conditioning works very well. Being Indonesia, some small bugs get into the room but there wasn't a mosquito issue at all. Beds were comfortable and room was very spacious. Staff are willing to help in any way - snorkelling, hiring a scooter, etc. The hotel itself has it's own snorkeling equipment to borrow and even a two person canoe! Hotel has it's own massage and treatment room for those who fancy that, but don't expect service before 1030/11am. Massages were very good. Better than surrounding places. Overall we were very happy and would reccomend this to others.

Daggy but delightful
Isolated, laid back, slightly daggy and a little bit run down, but a lovely place to spend a week doing not much at all in utter peace. Situated on the local fishing boat anchorage, with a serviceable pool and lounges, pricey but okay food and truly lovely local staff who provided everything from massages to motorbikes, it was the perfect retreat for us. Charming island style bungalows in sandy grounds completed the experience. Shop around for your own guided snorkelling tour, though, and do explore other spots for amazing beaches and better (and much cheaper) food.

Nusa Bay is right on Mushroom Bay with lovely views of the bay. The rooms dont have views but they certainly make up for it in every other way. Very clean, large king size beds, fresh linen every day, attentive staff who try very hard to make your stay as memorable as possible.

This is a great place to go if you want to relax and unwind in peace. Simple huts with no TV but air con is vg. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was right by the water, watching the boats sailing and people walking by, though huts themselves do not have views. Scooters available to go to other beaches or around the island. Tours good too, as was the snorkelling. Recommend this for a change from the hustle and bustle.
