"Wir waren bei unserer Ankunft erschrocken über den Zustand des Objektes! Es ist nicht - wie beschrieben - renoviert und saniert, sondern sanierungsbedürftig. Es war in einem Zustand, dass wir erstmal eine Stunde geputzt und jedes Geschirr, das wir nutzen wollten, gespült haben. Die Spülarmatur war so wackelig, dass wir bei Nutzung Angst hatten, dass sie abfällt. Der Toilettensitz war ebenfalls locker und nicht selber festzuschrauben (was wir versucht haben). "Disappointed that the extra bed was not ready for us despite reception knowing that it was a room for 2 adults and a child at check in we had to go back to reception to get a child’s bed. The hotel says that children stay free, but that was not our experience as my friend had the room next door and she paid less using the same booking platform and we booked at the same time. "

"Don’t take my rankings for this hotel meaning it is bad. But we have been in Germany for over two weeks and have stayed at 6 other hotels, and this was the one that just didn’t meet the same standards. It is in a great area and the room was pretty clean, but they do need a good amount of maintenance. "Beautiful hotel, room and staff in a wonderful town."

"The room was clean but for 3 people it was ultra small and a tight squeeze. The area around seemed more industrial and we did not feel safe staying out late. The staff were very helpful in arranging for a taxi as we had an early train to catch"

"Lovely place to stay and relax, great pool and sauna facilities. Nice restaurant and bar and easy parking. Nothing else around except a separate Italian restaurant which was basic but served fab food at good prices - a nice alternative to the hotel’s own restaurant. Safe and easy parking."
