The host, Daniel, was simply a delight to meet and chat with, and gave us some really good recommendations for site-seeing which we were able to use further into our trip. The Mill House is very large, and we loved having the huge kitchen and living areas. The bathrooms were a bit dicey to be honest, but what can you expect in an historic house? "Very beautiful area, castle and lodge. We hade a really nice stay in our room at the Lodge. Nice big room with a nice view. Very Friendly staff and nice big breakfast. Nice castle bar with fantastic view of the beautiful garden. Love to stay here again. Good free Parking just outside the lodge."
