"A lovely hotel, full of character in the heart of Tewkesbury. The room was very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. I was impressed at how bottled water and tea bags etc were topped up everyday (not something that happens in every hotel in my experience). The staff were very friendly, helpful and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had a good selection of dishes for dinner. The hotel is close to the bus stop for Cheltenham and Gloucester. "

"We had to find somewhere to stay at late notice for 11 nights. The room was clean and the facilities were as described. However the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, fresh and warm. Can’t fault it for the price, which was very good value."
