Shocking
Electrical socket broken and exposed. No spoon for tea making in fact no tea just coffee. UHT milk out of date. Room smells of effluent.
Did not stay, car park in darkness. 1 car in car park with smashed windows and flat tyres. Did not want to leave vehicle in car park. Reception tatty and nobody about.
Absolute terrible.
Smashed up cars in car park.
Broken plug sockets in the walls.
Stunk terrible.
Red hot with windows open.
Dirty as hell everywhere due to construction work.
I left due to all this and was refused a refund!!
This place should be shut down and reported to environmental health
Property was run down no outdoor lighting and looked like a scene from the bates motel and I turned right around and left. Nobody at reception with just a telephone number left to contact them overall would never look at booking there again and my request for a refund was denied by the owners. I wouldn’t let a stray dog stay there never mind a human being
Terrible, the room was dirty, unable to use the bathroom due to mold. No curtains at the window. Old misshapen beds. No one to speak to resolve anything. No kettle or facilities in room as described. Appalling experiance
The hotel room was dirty with marks all over the miror, in the bathtub and toiket was dirty.
The television did not wirk. There is no dining facilities at all.
The coffee and tea in the room was zero.
The receptionist was non existence and felt like ww were in a hostel.
This was without doubt the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Shabby to say the least. Car park had two vandalised cars, so I parked out front. No one was on reception so tried ringing the bell which didnt work. Uncommunicative man eventually appeared and gave me my key, grunting my room number but nothing else. Room very basic, no wifi. Place felt like a hostel rather than a hotel
This property has seen better days...
Morning after first night of two night stay I discovered the cold tap on the handbasin was not working.
I alerted the management and, as they did not offer to fix the tap, I asked for a room change which they implemented straight away.
No problems the second night.
The hotel was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed- three rooms I was shown - I stayed in the third one as I had no choice, I had pre paid. I don’t think that the guy behind reception had washed in weeks - that alone should tell you enough!
Nice place with an interesting history. Friendly staff, excellent service and immaculately clean. Pricing was fair considering I booked it for the very same night I was making the booking
