Beautiful villa, great location
The villa was beautiful and in a fantastic location to use as a jumping off point for exploring the Cap Ferret area. It was amazingly clean and beautifully designed with a wonderful outdoor area that we enjoyed immensely. David was a fantastic host, thoughtful and communicative. We could not check in until 7pm but he was kind enough to give us a slightly later check out which was very helpful. The only challenge is the lack of temperature control. We had a heat wave and the indoor temperature was a problem. David did everything he could though. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the villa. Thank you David

Good location but a few problems with the villa
The location was good for access to the local bicycle trails, beach and horse riding. The air conditioning system in the villa was not working well and broke down at one point so it was really very hot. The pool system also broke down. David came to fix it the next day. We felt the beds could also have been more comfortable and larger for the adults. I think for the money we were a bit disappointed. It is a beautiful modern looking building and the location was peaceful. It was also good to have some bikes included.

Great House in a fantastic location
David the Landlord was very friendly and accommodating when we had to arrive and leave at awkward times. Lovely welcome basket as well. The location is great, although with the heat in June, nothing is really walking distance. Market or shops are just a few minutes in the car. Horse riding, cycle tracks, jet skiing and surf schools are also close by. Its a really nice space just to chill and relax and the BBQ was fantastic. On the down side, it did get noisy during the weekday as you are on an estate and everyone is having their house done up, although it is fenced in and feels very private. The air-conditioning is provided by an underfloor system which makes the tiles cool. Anyway, coming from the UK, it is still 24 degrees inside at night so feels insufficient, and if we are being picky, the oven is a steam oven so you can't realistically cook a lot of things. Pizza was definitely out without the stone.

Perfect!
We really enjoyed our stay. David’s house is clean, modern and has all the amenities for a perfect and comfortable holiday. The house and pool are child friendly. Lège-Cap-Ferret is a hidden gem. We’d definitely stay again.

Comme le laisse imaginer l’annonce la villa est magnifique et très agréable à vivre. Son emplacement est parfait, au calme mais proche de tout les centres d’interêt de la presqu’île. Un seul petit bémol, qui n’engage que nous, tous les lits doubles sont des 140cm et il n’y a pas de volets dans les chambres. Ceci n’empêchant pas de passer un très bon séjour !

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt
Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in der Villa verbracht. Die Lage ist fantastisch; es herrschte absolute Ruhe. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der sehr saubere Pool und die Nähe zum Strand. Da wir einen Hund mit hatten, war es auch sehr von Vorteil, dass das gesamte Grundstück eingezäunt war. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können es wirklich weiterempfehlen.

David ist ein toller Gastgeber, sein Haus ist ein Traum und absolut empfehlenswert. Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig und toll ausgestattet! Tolles Haus und engagierter Vermieter
Das Haus entsprach den hier veröffentlichten Fotos und der Beschreibung. Wir wurden ausgesprochen nett begrüßt, uns wurde alles ausführlich gezeigt. Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten war das Haus in einem tadellosen Zustand. Der Garten und der Pool waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Positiv fiel auf, dass das Gaus sehr gut ausgestattet war, z.B. Geschirr und Gläser waren mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Kleiner Malus war, dass die gezeigten Fahrräder überwiegend defekt waren. Der Vermieter bot uns aber kulanter Weise an, für Mietfahrräder die Kosten zu übernehmen (was wir dann aber doch nicht taten). Persönlich hätten wir es gut gefunden, wenn an jeweils einen der Schlafzimmerfenster ein Fliegengitter montiert wäre, da wir gerne bei offenen Fenstern geschlafen hätten. Insgesamt haben wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt, die Betreuung war jederzeit freundlich und engagiert. Wir können das tolle Objekt gerne weiterempfehlen und danken noch einmal herzlichst unserem lieben Vermieter David. Vielen Dank.

Villégiature idéale
Le choix de cette villa prévue pour 6 avec 1 chien a parfaitement répondu à nos attentes. Spacieuse, très lumineuse, idéalement placée (commerces et activités accessibles à velo). Le temps mitigé nous a permis de profiter du magnifique jardin odorant et des points de vue de la villa du lever au coucher du soleil ainsi que de sa décoration et de ses commodités. La piscine aurait mérité quelques degrés supplémentaires pour que les enfants en profitent plus mais la météo n y a pas mis du sien. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir. et en attendant la recommandons vivement. Je remercie notre hôte prévenant pour son accueil et ses conseils.
